Chapter 1
Euston was scrolling through his Instagram stories as he sat down at a bench along the corridor of school after his lecture in school. It was the second week into his first semester in polytechnic. Euston scrolled through continuously through the stories of his friends till he got bored. Hence, he went to the explore function instead and something caught his eye. There was this muscled hunk with a very sharp jawline, stylish hairstyle wearing a blue singlet and holding a paddle in his hand. Euston's heart tingled as he tapped on the photo which had the hunk's personal profile tagged.
Euston went to the hunk's profile and gave a follow intuitively as he smiled to himself, smitten totally. He went back to the original post and read what was it about. Turns out, the hunk was the poster-boy for the Canoeing CCA. Euston looked at the small words beside the hunk: "Ng Junjie | Captain" The final sign-ups for the CCA was closing today! Euston thought he had to at least catch a glimpse of this hunk in real life regardless whether he was to join the Canoeing CCA. The student life fair showcasing the CCAs were crowded. Everywhere was flooded with students and CCA exhibitions. It almost made Euston just want to turn around and leave.
