Intoxicated With Love

Summary

OC x Katsuki Bakugou ~~~~~~Author's Note(?)~~~~~~ In this AU, there's mainly no ships besides Bakugou and my character. I'm open to suggestions, though. And I apologize in advance for any mistakes I make. I haven't watched the anime itself, so I'll probably make many mistakes with each character's personality. Since Mineta appears to be the most hated character, I'll exclude him. But the others will stay. If you're wondering where I got my information from, the answer is MHA YouTube videos. Some are MHA lyric prank videos, some are texting stories. The remainder of videos are basically ther Gacha selves reacting to another fandom.....(please tell me I'm not the only young writer that watches such things) Anyways, I'm a total cheater. But thanks to that, I manage to sympathize with Shoto and Katsuki more. I never really liked Deku, for some reason. I guess it's because I'm not a martyr. Because at the time when I first wrote this I couldn't come up with a better name, my character's name will be Jennifer Miranda, my actual name. ~~~ One more thing, Miss Jen switched places with Izuku Midoriya (I'm sorry if I misspelled his name).

Chapter 1: Head-strong

She was running late and on her way, she bumped into a blond guy with red eyes. At first, she thought of vampires, being the vampire lover that she was, she couldn't help it. Then she remembered that not everyone with red eyes was a vampire.

"Oi, nerd, watch where you're going." He snapped, with no real heat. There were bags under his eyes.

It kinda looked like he'd been crying for awhile. Why, though, she had no idea. She remembered that there was supposed to be a blond with red eyes named Katsuki Bakugou that has a frenemy relationship with Izuku. (They're not exactly enemies since underneath that hard exterior, I'm sure he'd never want Izuku to die; until proven wrong with solid evidence, that's the truth)

"Are you by any chance, Katsuki Bakugou...?"

He stiffened. "How do you know my name, extra?"

She gave him a nervous smile. "He told me to stick to you. I exchanged places with Izuku Midoriya."

"That boy with green hair and green eyes?"

She nodded.

"Oh, so that's why I haven't seen him. Where is he now? As far as I know, UA is the best school and...."

"He's at Votrix Academy now. I'm an advanced student, so I am intrigued as to who will have a chance of defeating me."

"I've heard rumors about that school. It's harder to get there, right?"

She paused and thought about it. She shrugged. "Not really. You have to be approved by the principal in order to begin training. But some are just too weak-minded so they dropout. The principal tends to wipe their memory if she believes there'll be a problem. And.....I said too much. Bye, gotta get to class!" She said, rushing off to class 1-A.

He followed her. "I wasn't done with you, extra!" He yelled as he ran after her.

He's way too handsome. I need to keep my mouth shut no matter how insignificant the details are. I had to leave before he managed to make me say more about us. Dad will probably take away my loner privileges! He'll make me work with that pig-headed jerk if he finds out! I really hate working with Caleb. I'd rather work with Adrik. Or Erin, she isn't as bad as her son.

She came to a stop when she reached the class. She opened the door and gave everyone a onceover. She was heavily disappointed to find out that the strong ones were still considerably weak. They would've been classified as Novices at best.

(There's four levels for Novice so chill; Learner, Beginner, Assistant, Illusioner...plz keep in mind that I am going off of an old story I wrote, which was written before I decided to make Phoenix the bad guy)

"You must know the drill, right?" Mr. Aizawa said. He turned to face a certain blonde. "Bakugou, sit down now."

Jen bit her lower lip, thinking about how to introduce herself without sounding too full of herself. She knew that when she stated facts about her powers, it sounded like she was showing off when she really wasn't from having to introduce herself multiple times as part of a mission.

"I'm Jennifer...Miranda. You may call me Enna-chan if you wish. I'm an exchange student. I'm also an advanced Votrix Academy student. Currently, seventeen years old and my quirk is called...Unknown."

"Unknown?"

She sighed. "It's short for 'Unknown Immortal Mystery'. My quirk is mysterious so the name fits. It's not quite creation, not quite destruction. Not quite anything really. But...it stems from my mood and my creativity."

Katsuki had many questions to ask. But he'd let it slide. He'd eventually know more about her quirk...and the girl herself.

(If anyone already sits next to him, I apologize but this is just a fanfic...)

"Just sit next to Bakugou."

She did as told and began to imagine what it'd be like to reunite with her missing twin. Ever since she discovered the truth, she was dying to she her twin brother again.

[Time Skip Cuz I felt like it | Training 2 vs 2]

"...lastly, Katsuki Bakugou and Jennifer Th-Miranda versus Shoto Todoroki and Momo Yaoyorozu."

(originally, it was Jen vs Katsu, but this is more interesting, wouldn't you agree?)

The pairing set them (technically all four but I'm referring to Katsu & Jen) off guard.

Particularly, Bakugou. He didn't know what to expect of his partner's quirk at all or from the girl herself for that matter.

The opposite of fire is ice. But that won't work on someone that controls both. Hmm, looks like I have to use Shadow and Phantom fire to defeat Todoroki. As for Momo....piece of cake. I heard from a certain somebody that she can't use her quirk properly without concentration. Therefore, all I'd need to do is summon my flying daggers. But I'm sure Katsuki can handle her, right?......I'll create a ring around us just to be safe. I'll make sure it doesn't hurt him since he's on my side.

With a plan in mind, Jen confidently smirked and stood as close to Bakugou as she could without making it look obvious.

As Bakugou began his attack, Jen unleashed her black Shadow Fire. The flames were black with the center red. The flames engulfed them both just as she planned and Bakugou froze as he watched Todoroki and Momo adjust to the turn of events.

Jen's smile widened and she sighed. "Guess my Phantom flames aren't necessary. You may attack now, blondie." Jen muttered.

Bakugou's face turned hot and he decided to ignore her comment and to save it for later, explosions forming in his palms as he continued his interrupted attack.

Jen watched as he attacked Todoroki, going beyond the flames' reach, in disappointment. I forgot to take his pride into account. Of course, the blonde hot-head will go after Todoroki to prove he's better than him. I kinda wish I had been paired with a Scorpio or another Capricorn. That way, my partner would recognize a good strategy when it's in their freaking face!

Momo made the attempt of attacking Jen, but her weapons turned to ashes the second they came into contact with her Shadow flames. Jen's disappointed frown turned into a sly smirk as she remembered that she could launch her Shadow Needles instead of using her daggers.

And so in one fluid motion that confused everyone else (including the audience aka the rest of the class that stopped to watch), she sent her Shadow Needles flying in Momo's direction.

Momo didn't even have time to react. She screamed in pain as the needles pierced her skin and the temperature suddenly dropped.

[Starting with what Bakugou saw when she used her Shadow Fire]

Bakugou's gaze dropped to her hands and saw a black diamond shape on the back of her hands appear. Her expression stirred something in him.

She looked like she could bring anyone to their doom without remorse. She looked scary but beautiful. And he could tell she had a softer side. How did he know? He wasn't sure, but it was one of those things you just knew the second you looked at a person.

She looked at him, looking at him for a bit, as if she was staring at his soul, with a smile before finally muttering "Guess my Phantom flames aren't necessary. You may attack now, Blondie."

His face burned with embarrassment at being caught staring at her. Damn, how did that happen? What does--No, wait, what? She shouldn't affect me this much. He thought as he continued his attack which was interrupted by her little surprise.

As he fought with Todoroki, he was distantly aware of what his brunette partner was doing. He caught her smirk in the corner of his eye as he fought.

He and Todoroki both froze when they heard Momo's screams.

Bakugou was surprised to see that it was because of black needles. Wow, she was outdone by needles? *insert his laughter* I like my partner even more now. But of course, this means Enna has incredible reaction time and if you add that with her intelligence...I'm dead if I become her enemy. I hope I don't ever go against her in a match.

Jen analyzed everyone reactions as she continued to her attack. She was defensive before, her fire serving as a shield. Now, it was time to show them that she's not only a good strategist.

She's good in close combat. But even better from long-range. Her specialty was to sneak up on people, after all. Hence, her alias being "Phantom".....not that anyone would question her yet.
