Chapter 1 Natalie
Natalie's Perspective
The Prague National Museum recently reopened. It's busy after it's year long renovation. I reach the top of the grand staircase and turn around to admire the golden banister and the plush red carpet. The neo-renaissance architecture and the many gothic archways
make me feel like I'm back in time. I'm tempted to sneak off down one of the staff corridors, accidentally stumble up a secret door, end up somewhere in an ancient underground cathedral, and awaken a hot vampire who falls in love with me as a reincarnated version of his first love, sweeps me away to his castle where we live off his amassed wealth he's hoarded over the years. Instead the neat ropes guided me out of the museum and back into the light of day.
It's too beautiful a day to go home right away. I wonder over to Victor Bridge to take in the sites on the way home. I just finished four intense years of study in the Victor Medical College program. I'm finally taking a break before officially entering medical school. Usually I take summer classes, do internships and volunteer work; because of this I graduatered a year early. Theres only one half-week left to get my final grades and collect my things as I'll be studying at a different campus in the fall. Single and horny, I've decided I've earned myself a hot girl summer. I want someone to share the summer with. Preferably male, funny, and hung; in that order. I'm not expecting anything serious; just fun.
There are many couples and families around; very few men by themselves. I don't really know where to meet anyone in the city since I've has been so focused on my studies. Being alone in the city made it easy to stay focused. Dating apps seem like a crap shoot. I went sight seeing today with the hopes of meeting someone along the way.
I'd say I'm an average girl; mostly plain. A little tall and a little pretty with light brown hair and dark green eyes. I played sports growing up and kept active to keep my figure. I have some curves so I'm use to a bit of shallow attention and learned to ignore it. Some of my classmates here tried to ask me out but I could see through their intentions and didn't want anything to interfere with school. Luckily I had gotten in with a studious crowd and always had friends to stay focused with. Most of them were nerdy and played board games on the weekends. I read to live the the wild adventures of others.
I'm from Montana. I spent some time in New York before moving back. Spending time in such an eclectic city made me yearn for more than haystacks and small town life. I'd always wanted to be a doctor and help people but there was no way that world be affordable at home. Grades weren't a problem. I applied to major universities around the country and even manged to get in Harvard, Standford, and NYU. Unable to afford them, even with available scholarships I decided to look into schools overseas. I had made some friends with people from the Czech Republic while living in New York and finally settled on going to school here. I had no issues being accepted into the medical college, and less than a year later I was in Europe living my dream.
I kept my head in the books and stayed at the top of the class. The school offered classes in English so I haven't learned Czech more than what was needed for daily activites. I determined after studying biology, that I'd like to be a Forensic Scientist. Out of all the various fields I've studied, forensics gives me the biggest sense of satisfaction. It felt like I finally had everything figured out for the time being and the only thing left to do is to find romance. I never had trouble finding a guy before. I was tripping over them when I wasn't looking.
I arrive back at my modest studio apartment. It isn't so bad with what the stipend covers. It's on the bus route and next to a station. It is a top floor walk up. It has beautiful skylights and the top floor apartments happen to be the cheapest in the city. It came furnished with cheap but modern furniture. I've added a few paintings and bookshelves. Theres a corner for exercise. Best of all, it has a large balcony where she I can worship the Coffee Gods in the mornings and study on in the warmer months.
After a relaxing shower and some dinner I update my Friends Spot profile. I upload some pictures of my favorite exhibit she and shots taken from Victor Bridge.
Before I could put down the phone I notice the Teacher's Aide, Walken, had liked the post. He didn't comment as usual. I guessed along time ago he had a crush on me because of how nice and awkward he was. But I'm not interested, and not because I was focused on studying. He just isn't attractive. Or witty. Or funny. Or special in any way I find interesting. I only added him not to be rude and in case I needed help with class. As long he leaves me alone in real life it's okay.
I put the phone down and pick up the new book Id gotten from the bookstore. Amo Jones makes up for the lack of action in my own life. A few hours pass before I take a break and noticed a few Friend Spot comment notifications. It was the usual oohs and awws from family back home and a few comments on dating. A local friend suggested I use a dating app called Snack.
I'm not really keen on using dating apps but this friend usually gives good advice. I reply I'll check it out. I find the app in the store and read the reviews which were mostly good. The app seemed big on security so I decided to go for it. I spent the next half hour or so setting up my profile.

Hope you don't mind me pointing out some things.
*There are a few grammar mistake, but not that much to set a reader off.
*Add a major event to the museum visit, otherwise the scene won't be necessary.
*Since your writing is for fun, it's okay to use emojis but in future, when you have other plans for your book, don't use emojis.
*Use another font for the dating profile.
I liked the plot.
