A TITAN'S HEART
Gathered around me are young romantics—
all waiting for the wrinkling skin to speak.
They came to look for a blue diamond,
instead they found the heart of a young man.
No photograph of him I hold today,
I close my eyes, trying to see his face.
Remnants of him still in my memory,
it's the treasure I'll keep for centuries.
His soft blond hair shone under the sunlight,
but not as radiant as his ocean eyes.
From the third class but his smile is priceless,
sound of his laughter no poems could express.
In freezing hell; was bound to another,
a distressed red head held by her mother.
I searched for escape, but I found a friend,
he was there for me when no one listened.
Then one night, he was polished handsomely—
he is both the artist and the art piece,
and his words pierced almost everyone's heart—
astonished by what he learned from afar.
We met at the clock then he brought me there—
to a happy affair where no one cared.
He's the reason why my fire lasted,
he rescued me from the troubles ahead.
When they tried to keep him away from me,
he never listened to any warnings.
I even tried to create some distance,
but I couldn't remain far from his love.
He spread my wings and taught me how to fly
with intertwined hands, we welcomed the night.
A doll that he turned into a woman,
trusted him with all of me 'til we're done.
And with a pencil, he drew forever,
that moment brought me innocent pleasure.
Like star-crossed lovers, we ran, hid and love,
but fate has another heartbreaking plan.
With a sly iceberg ahead of the drunk,
in the heart of the sea, a titan sunk,
and a lot of names were erased that night—
including the man with the ocean eyes.
I can't forget every second with him,
I'd pay millions to take him back to me.
Pulled me back and saved me in every way,
this man could've walked away, but he stayed.
King of my world, the greatest man by far—
in his last days, he took me to the stars.
