Chapter 1…
This now noisy school day starts with Charlie jumping off the bus “that was such a long ride, phew” and then she harshly hits my back. I watch her pass by as she waves to me to follow. I hestentily followed her into the cafeteria, and I could smell fresh muffins. I love blueberry muffins but I wasn't too hungry, the bell went off “it's time to go to class” I heard a male teacher exclaim. I jumped and looked around as I watched everyone leave, and Charlie wasn't anywhere to be found. I got up in hope to see her. I grabbed my bag, swinging it over my shoulder as I heard a few items move.
I take a few steps and the next thing I know I have fallen, I'm not very strong or good at staying on my feet. I looked around confused then I heard Charlie snap at someone, telling them off. She gives me a hand up as I move my glasses then asks me in concern “hey you ok? Shouldn't let people push you” she hates that i'm easily a push over, tough and pretty she is. Stuttering we lock hands, walking to our classes. She turns and pulls her hand out to me “your schedule?” I stare then quickly reach in my pocket to get my schedule “r-right, ya here” she chuckles at me. “Okay… you're the class across” she points at the door across from where we are, i reply with a quiet “thanks”.
