Great book to read
"If your looking for a bl book that’s angsty but cute at the same time, this is the book you’ll need to read. I like it because it’s detailed enough to understand what the characters go through. My favorite character is Loek because he’s so cute and “bright”. Overall, this book is a great read, if you’re looking for something that makes you fuzzy inside but also makes you teary at times."

"This book was amazing to read! I accidentally stayed up all night to finish it because I just couldn't put it down. I wish Jesse wasn't so in love with Cal, but I think it was also an important part of the story, and I'm still really glad about who he ended up with. I wish there were more interactions between Loek and Jesse that wasn't just Loek comforting him about something but more romantic moments, but I still really loved it. I like that, even after Jesse's friends found out about his crush on Cal and his sexuality and everything, they were still great friends with him and didn't let it change anything. Loek and Jesse's relationship made me smile, this was an amazing book, and the plot flowed well. Highly suggest this along with the other books by this great author!"
Sweet and heartwarming.
" Lovely story. I had been so sure that Jesse would end up with Cal in the end simply because he was so in love with him. I really adored Loek, but I didn't root for them to be a couple. I was afraid Jesse's feeling, even though they were unrequited, for Calex would always be an issue. That he'd never be able to love Loek quite as much as he loved Calex. And it would make Loek feel like the runner up in his own relationship, like he never quite measured up to the man that Jesse REALLY loved. I was worried that if for some reason Calex ever became an actual option for Jesse, that Jesse would grab the opportunity with both hands in a heartbeat and he'd drop Loek like a bad habit without a second thought. He deserved better than that. They both deserved better than that. So I was pleasantly surprised to see Jesse's feelings for Loek grow into a sweet, honest love and his love for Calex to simmer back down to a platonic friendship in a very organic, believable way. His change of heart didn't feel rushed or forced or unrealistic even though it all took place over a handful of chapters. Very impressive. I also really enjoyed their sex scene... Well maybe enjoyed is the wrong word lol... I appreciated how honest and sweet it was. It wasn't necessarily sexy... But it was real. It was awkward and tentative and sweet and a far more accurate portrayal of a sexual encounter between two fairly inexperienced teenagers on their 1st time together. Hell it's probably a far better representation of how sex is for a lot more people (even grown adults) than the super smutty, over the top, life altering sex scenes described in most romance novels. Lol. It honestly made this story so much more believable. Overall it was a sweet heart-warming story. "
