Do we see how selfish our actions are? Or does the result justify the deed?... We don’t ask ourselves those questions when we venture out into the world to get exactly what we want. We don’t ever think about the universe dealing our cards just how we deserve. Instead, we step on every single person to get to where we think our destination is. Who cares if we end up alone? Being alone and rich supercedes being alone and loved. It doesn’t matter if our selfishness means being alone, we’re all alone anyway. It’s better to use our money to wipe away the tears than to worry about the lack of toiletries.
I used to be a people-pleaser. I’d strive to gain the respect and love of everyone around me. It felt good to do good. It got to a point where I’d be the go-to person for people I could not go to. I suffered and I suffered until I met the person I always knew I could be. Some may say I'm a bitch, but don’t we all love her?
We love people who are mysterious, callous, cold-hearted... The rush it gives us trying to thaw that solid heart feels better than drugs. I don’t aim to please.... I aim to fuck every single person, fuck them over, fuck them under, and just FUCK THEM. Now they want me, they crave me, but all I see is their heart, that red pathetic piece of organ. My goal is to hold it in my hand, squeeze it until it’s almost dead... and then, eat it.
You serve yourself on a platter to me and call me wicked when I devour you? What was I meant to do? Stare at those beautiful orbs? Put you on a throne just so you could turn around and doom me to the worst parts of my mind? The means justify the end. It was my intention to kill you. It was my intention to take everything you own; your life, your pleasures, and, most importantly, your ego. The soles of my shoes are filled with innocents. The way I walk, you see a frail person, someone you can feed off. I call you, and you get hooked, hooked until I seize a moment, just a small moment where you’re vulnerable, weak, and I show you, I show you just who you are.... And then I take you for everything you have.
