Dil ko na shikayat hai koi

Pyaar ke mamle mein yeh hamesha se tang raha hai...

Kya samjh payenge hume woh,

Dil toh humara malang raha hai...

Safar hai wahi bus modd hai aane wala naya...

Jindagi ka apna hi dhang raha hai...Major Achal Khanna simply penned his words in his Diary when heard his friends mocking him out of the blue

Guys can you all please stop with this teasing....he proclaimed in a serious tone crossing his arms at his chest but with a small smile...

No!! Not at all Major Khanna...aur waise bhi aaj ke baad aisa mauka kab milega, aaj sab basecamp se jaa rahe hai and Diwali toh sab family ke saath hi bitayenge..a guy from the troop answered

But why me Guys Caption.Arun ki bhi toh shaadi hai....he said pointing towards him who was included among them

Usme abhi bhi 2 weeks time hai dost aur unki better half is none other than Doctor Sakshi; we can't risk our life dude...Aarav announced with a smirk

Waise Achal you never mentioned anything about her...

Aakhir humare Shayar ki Gazal hai kaisi... Captain Arun asked mocking him

Well jyada toh hum bhi nahi jaante, Family ne shaadi fix kardi hai....

Last usko 4 years pehle Diwali pe dekha tha..

Uske baad woh shift hogaye thay...Achal concluded

Array Waah !! Aap toh...Arun was about to say when a junior arrived...

Excuse me Sir!!

Colonel is calling you all Sir!! He conveyed and left

Calonel !!. Let's see...they all turned to being serious in a snap

Later that evening..:-

Ab seedha aapko aapki shadi pe milenge...Arun mocked

Shut Up..!!

Tum sabne before time aana hai.. Achal warned...

Will see...he replied with a laugh

Ok Bye!! Happy Journey...they bidded shaking hands as Achal left for his train...

Although he left on time but Achal took the train last moment thanks to the heavy traffic in the town due to various fairs on the occassion of Diwali....

He was standing at the Door when saw a girl running to get the train he reached his hands to her but instead was greeted by a heavy bag which she threw to him and self took the back door to step inside the train...

Thank you ji aapne saaman bachaya humara..... She greeted panting

Well thank you ki koi jarurat nahi hai... He said returning her bag

Ok ji... She smiled took the bag and left, while Achal stood there for some more time....

It was a last moment booking at Two Tier AC, which is now RAC

after a while he decided to go back to his seat

Getting their he was greeted again with the same girl...

Arrey aap yaha bhi...She chirped

Ji yeh humari seat hai...he informed

Aur Humari bhi.... She added showing him her phone...

Ok wait.... He instructed and reached to convert the seat to a chair

Yeh kya kar rahe hai aap... she asked confused

I am just adjusting the seats... He answered

Rehne dijiye na hume sikud ke nahi baithna.... she declared keeping her bag under the seat

But I am more comfortable that way....he proclaimed converting his half

Suit yourself... She shrugged keeping her handbag at the hook..

Soon the train left the station and those journey towards their destination began..

It was just fifteen minutes after it when

Fruits....she offered

No thanks.... He politely rejected

Ok....she shrugged and took a handful of grapes

Waise aap kaha se aa rahi thi...he interogated

College se...Woh first time itne short notice mein booking hui na, seat bhi confirm nahi hui... She conveyed still munching

Aapne bataya nahi aap kya karte hai...she asked gulping the food down....

Ji aapne poocha nahi... Ha said in a matter of fact tone...

Ohh.!! She paused then asked

Ji aap kaha...

Woh kuch kaam tha... He said interveing her mid-sentence...

They had small conversations and he come across something intriguing about her...

Toh Army pasand ni aapko... He asked raising an eyebrow

Nahi aisa nahi hai, but I think woh thode jyada stubborn aur angrymen type hote hai.... She blurted then continued

Ab aap apni example le lijiye

Agar aap Army mein hote toh itne linear thodehi hote.... Setting his example

Har koi aisa nahi hota... He justified

Maybe.... She added still not convinced

Waise ik baat kahe... she asked in a pleading voice

Yes please... He replied

Aap seat normal karlijiye, Puri Raat bitani hai abhi, discomfort mein reh ke kya fayda, we can sit by folding legs... She suggested

Hmm... He agreed and soon the seat was converted to a birth, after which some minutes were spend in silence he was reading some.magazine while she listened songs

It was around ten when she called

Excuse me...

Ji...he replied still engrossed in his magazine

Ik kaam karte hai na...legs seedhe kar lete hai, it's more better... She suggested rubbing her knees...

Hmm...he said and stretched his legs now both of their legs were stretched and kept beside their figures

Waise, aap karte kya hai, aapne answer ni diya.. She asked again

Ji let's have Coffe... He deviated and buyed them Coffe but ran out of change so she paid for both of them....

Aapko jazz pasand hai...she asked again

No!! He replied briefly

Hume bhi Nahi I am very Happy with my Bollywood and Punjabi songs....she chimmed and turned back to her phone

Ok.!! he replied and then left checking his phone, mumbling I have to take this...

He returned to his seat after around half an hour after indulging in a Call to find her already slept using her bag as a pillow

Mam...!!.he was about the wake her up but looking at her innocent self he choose to be quite and in the remaining half he sat crossing his arms at his chest stretching his legs, and opted to calmly enjoy the sight outside....

It was some time later that he felt her hands were over his legs...

He was baffled with the move but saw her still sleeping sound ...he swiftly held her hand and kept it back to her figure resting it on her waist....

It was the time when he felt her soft skin, arousing feelings inside him and he sat back and took his pocket diary out from his jacket....

Ki Mile hai ik Anjaan se...

Na koi pehchan hai ....

Seerat uski masoom si

Ab tak woh nadaan hai....

Kaisi ajeeb si hai woh

Jaise duniya ki reet se anjaan hai...

Khichne lage hai uski taraf

Jaane kaisi yeh purani Pehchan hai...

He simply penned taking glances at her sleeping self...

The stray stands of her hair sometimes blocking his view making him exapperate.....

It was already twelve at night,...but he was still not over her...

Then again she put her hand and her leg on him hugging his leg....

This time making him unable to move, he looked around to find everyone was sleeping soundly....dejected he covered them pulling the sheet over his legs....

It was the first time he was in close proximity with a girl....he could feel her figure pressing over his legs, this new sensation was now adding to his discomfort....

He didn't slept that night...puri raat woh sirf unhe dekhte rahe crossing his arms at his chest.....

Unki aankhen, her full lips which were curled up to a smile, her hairs... everything about her felt so enchanting....

It's now about 4:30 when he felt her moving, and he abruptly closed his eyes pretending to be in deep slumber....

On the other side, she woke up to find herself embracing a stranger's leg....

She was embaressed as anything, and sat back with a jolt....

He then pretended again to be awaken up by her move...

Are you alright..!! Koi sapna dekha tha kya... he asked in husky voice...

Ji woh..!! Nahi woh hume washroom jaana hai...she replied nervously looking for an escape point...

Hmm he answered and stood up she too got up and reached for her shoes but lost balance to hit him at his chest, but still was looking down ...

Are you alright..he asked in a concerned voice looking down at her ..

She looked up to find his eyes looking at her with concern...

Hmm she nodded shifting her gaze down and ran to the washroom..

She intentionally took extra time to skip from the awkwardness she was feeling now..

But time has it own rules when you want things to work your way....

Dejected she has to get back to her seat....

Geetting back she discovered Achal had already folded the sheets and duvet and placed them on the other seat, providing them enough place to sit and even got them Coffee....

People beside them were already left increasing the arising tension....

Good Morning...he greeted in a low voice...

Thank You!! she replied...

Where are you going.. he asked looking at her walking away

It's Ok you may sit comfortably here, waise bhi kal raat...she paused

I mean kal raat aap thik se so nahi paye honge...

Your Coffe....he said handling her the Coffe Cup

Thank You.... She replied

It was the last conversation they had...

The remaining hour of the journey was spent in silence as she never uttered anything and looked away from him....

While from the corner of his eyes he saw her eyes already watered and glistening with unshed tears ...

She even didn't cared to look back at him once, despite he took efforts glancing at her...

When they were just 30 minutes away from the journey she took her bag to get an hair tie and braided her hair to a beautiful fish tail braid all the while feeling him looking at her.....

Soon they were on their destination and she quitely left.... Achal on the other hand waited for her to say something but that never happened....

Getting to the station he looked for her but she was nowhere to be found but he was greeted by his friends in town who were there to welcome him....

Their sight was enough to bring a grin over his face....

The rest of the day he spent with his family....

Everyone was very excited for his marriage especially his mother....

He blended well with the wedding environment but the thought of the girl never left his mind, eventually whose name was also not known to him....

It was a three days before his wedding and his friend from basecamp arrived to pay him a visit....

He directly went to his room to find him staring blankly outside his room....

Pata nahi kya naam tha uska, isis Seher mein rehti hai woh par kabhi milna kyu nahi hua usse...

Army walo se darti hai Pagal....

he recollected thinking about her and his lips curled up to a smile automatically....

Kin khayalon mein gumm hai aap, Aarav uttered breaking his Chain of thoughts....

Aarav!! tum kab aaye....he said with a huge smile embracing him...

Just abhi.... he replied

So batao, would be Dulhe ji milna hua Bhabhi se.... He asked breaking the hug

Nahi yaar kuch dino pehle hi aaya, and uske baad se sab yahi busy hai... He informed

So kya soch ke mushkura rahe thay aap, and I don't want to hear any lies... He asked with a wink

Kuch ni yaar tum bhi kin baaton ko leke baith gaye.... Achal tried to shrug it away

Achal.... He said his name taking a long breath

Ok...he sighed and shared the memories of his journey with him....

Bhai tumhe yaar vyaar toh nahi hogaya ussay...Aarav announced looking at him

Nahi yaar pyaar aise thodehi hota hai... He reposed

Par bhai tumhari aankhein kuch aur hi keh rahi hai.... Aarav added

Aankhon ka kya hai, yeh kabhi dhokha bhi de dete hai.... He quoted

Bhai everyone is calling you downstairs Bhabhi bhi aayi hai... interrupted his sister breaking the conversation

Hmm we are coming he said sounding not much excited...

Soon they were all seated at the Drawing room of his House but the bride was still nowhere to be found...

Initially having a tour of the house with his sister Raavie...

Achal besides was having a casual conversation with her family when she stepped in with a smile over her face and their eyes locked....

Her smile was quickly vanished with his sight while he just clenched his jaws...they both were astonished for a moment and achal just felt that maybe his friend aarav was right because he was seeing the girl in the train in his would be wife's face so he rubbed his eyes and took a look of her more carefully and still saw the same...

The family introduced them to each other and they were given some time alone...

What's your name.!!..he started the conversation after their endless moment of silence...

Gauravi she replied briefly...

So,Kya aap Chahti hai yeh shaadi ho....He remarked

She didn't answered...

I think I was loud enough...he was still serious...

Hmm humari family ki choice hi humari choice hai agar aapne kuch aur kehna ho toh... she left the sentence mid-way

He then went away without saying anything..... but turned to say...

Suniye Mrs Khanna taiyyari kar lijiye life bhar ik Army wale ka Pyaar aur Gussa jhelne ke liye....he said with a smirk then left, leaving her blushing hard...

The wedding rituals continued as scheduled and it was their wedding night and she was already slept in his embrace. ..

Kisne socha tha humara humrahi aise milega hume,

safar mein jise anjaan samajh rahe thay, wahi Jeevan Saathi ke roop me milega hume

jinhe dekh laga tha pehchan purani hai inse

Ghar aaye toh pata chala pehchan saath janmo ki hai unse...

humne khud na socha tha ki kabhi

Achal Khanna ko bhi pyaar ho jayega....

Iss Diwali ki baat karte hai log jo saal mein ik baar aati hai...

Koi humse pooche jab se unse milna hua hai har raat unke saath ki Diwali rahi hai humari Jindagi mein....

He thought the himself then kissed her forehead embracing her more to himself and soon drifted to deep slumber...
