The Discovery
It was a pretty normal day, other than the fact that I was hanging out with Colby, my friend I had met years ago. We were just enjoying the first day of summer break by taking a walk in the woods by my house. As we were walking, a lingering sound of machinery kept getting louder. Eventually, the sound was unimaginably loud and I was starting to get annoyed. We get to an opening in the woods that was not there before. I was so angry at this noise I relieved my anger by throwing the nearest rock at the opening. But this rock just deflected off of the air and flew at me. It seems there was something there that we could not see. So when I went to touch it, I could feel a smooth, metal disc that was as big as this gigantic opening. When Colby saw this exciting discovery, he went to touch it too. We had to tell Someone.
