My Prologue

My childhood was rough. Filled with lies, betrayal, and abuse. I never knew love. My mom died when I was young. My dad was distant. My Brother was many years older than me.

I raised my self. I graduated. Moved out of state to New York. I got a job. It was a corporate job. Long hours. Big paycheck. Can't say I liked much but it was something to keep me stable. I liked stable. See I never had stable.

I'm turning 21 still working with the same job. My boyfriend has a surprise for me. We don't always get a long but he does care for me. That the one thing I like about him.

I get off work walk to my car. Drive home. Take a shower. Look into my closet. I put on my short black dress and my red and diamond shoes. I don't wear makeup so I put on my rings, watch, and necklace along with my anklet. Grab my purse and key and walk out the door. Brad pulls up 5 mins later walks out and hugs me and get back into the car.

He never opens the door for me. But we all have our flaws. Even though I've talked to him about it. It always ended up in an argument.

He drives to this club called Joico Joy. We walk in. It amazing the led lights disco ball and bar have a authentic look to it. The bar counter looks as if it made out of colorful canyon with resin to make it stay. Everything placed just right.

I walk closer to the bar to order my drink.

" Excuse me sir, can I get a gin and tonic." I say loud over the music.

" coming up."

As I wait for my drink I watch to men come in the build. The one on the farside looks to be about 23. He has a sharp jawline. He about 6'0. The one closest to me has long curly hair going to his shoulders and shaded glasses on. He about 6'4. His suits tight just enough to get a good picture of his fitted figure.

As the bartender hands me my drink. The two men walk towards the bar. I take that as I sighn I should go find my boyfriend.

I walk around to find him but I I see him. I walk to the back check the bathroom and then make my way to the VIP section. As I open the door I see Brad sitting on the couch and his head rolled back. While a women is on her knees infront of him.

I run out towards the bar. Out the front door. I don't know where I'm going but I keep running. I run for about 10 minutes. I stop tears in my eyes I look around to find my self in know sight of civilization. There trees and a lake on the right side of me. I look forward to see a a house like building. I walk towards it. Knock on the door.

A men in a suit opens the door.

"Hey, I just need to use your phone. I lost and along the way I must have dropped my phone."

He looks at me and closes the door.

I walk away from the door. When I opens back up. They start asking question. Like where do you live? How'd you get here? Where was I before this?

Before I could answer. Someone puts a cloth bag over my head and knocked me out.
