Chapter 1= Please call me Kacey

She stepped into the wonted world not knowing the calamitous secrets would destroy her life forever. She had the most important people with her, who never left her side no matter what.

But maybe one was the hoaxer who hated her.

Who was it?

Blossom town. The town which looked pretty on the outside but dark and mysterious on the inside.

The same town which would change Kacey’s life forever.

“Great!” Kacey said as she stepped on something squishy and uncanny. Her deep blue high-heeled desert boots got destroyed by the weird thing. She sighed with annoyance as she kept walking towards her aunt’s house.

After, 2 minutes which for Kacey seemed like 2 hours she finally reached the doorstep.

Ding-dong, Ding-dong

A lady wearing a full sleeve night gown creaked opened the door as she stepped outside and stared at Kacey.

“Katherine darling it’s so good to see you again!” Aunt Kimberly said as she hugged Kacey tightly.

“I-I can’t breathe.” Kacey said with an uneasy tone.

Aunt Kimberly swiftly moved her arms away from Kacey and joined her hands with excitement.

Aunt Kimberly looked very alluring. She had naturally blonde hair, grey colored eyes and a winsome smile. Her soft and confident personality would make anyone fall for her.

“Come on in darling.” Aunt Kimberly said gleefully.

As Kacey stepped inside the house, She gasped.

“This house is huge!” Kacey said with a gaped expression.

The house looked almost insane. The expensive chandeliers hanging from the ceilings, the most rarest portraits hanging on the wall, the prepossessing twin stairs leading to the upper floor, the lavish furniture, the scent of sandalwood and Rose. This all made Kacey feel like she just stepped into her dream house.

“Thank you honey. This wouldn’t have been possible without my job.”

Kimberly worked as a food critic. She actually earned very well for herself considering the fact she was single.

Andrew Blake, Kimberly’s ‘ex’ husband left her for another woman. Kimberly was depressed and heartbroken for months. She and Andrew were actually high school sweethearts and yes you could say they were inextricable as hell. After Andrew left 6 years ago, Kimberly has been on her own relishing life.

“So darling how have you been?” Kimberly asked smiling.

“I mean, I have been better.” Kacey said with an objective face.

Margret Myles and Preston Myles.

Kacey’s parents. They recently died in a car accident in the ‘Urban Valley’. Kacey never admired her parents. They never treated her pleasantly. Every day Kacey felt dreadful. She wanted to flee away from the perturbations caused in her house. Physical and mental abuse, Kacey went through unpleasant situations.

After Kacey got the news about her parents death, she felt no grief but rather felt unconfined. She could finally escape the devil’s house and made a promise to never step foot in that house ever again.

Kacey took a deep breath and looked up at Kimberly.

“You seem very stressed Katherine. Everything ok?” Kimberly said in a fretted tone.

Kimberly didn’t know anything about Kacey’s parents. Anytime she went to meet the Myles family, she would always see jovial emotions on their faces. Nothing seemed wrong to Kimberly, unless she knew the laceration and fear going on in ‘that’ house.

“I am just tired, can you take me to my room?” Kacey said with a faint smile.

“Sure Honey. Come with me.” Kimberly said

Kacey followed Kimberly as they walked up the stairs to the first floor.

They walked towards the right and stood in front of a tall dirty blonde colored door.

“This will be your room Katherine.” Kimberly said with a smile.

Kimberly walked towards the side while Kacey took a step closer to the door.

As soon as Kacey opened the door, she was stupefied.

The room was nothing like Kacey expected it to be.

The room was prodigious. It felt fresh and inviting. The beautiful extortionate chandelier hanging from the wall, the grandeur bed, the prepossessing wallpapers. Kacey was bewildered.

“Aunt Kim, are you sure you aren’t secretly married to Jeff Bezos or something?” Kacey said with a startled tone.

Kimberly laughed.

“I know it’s a lot. This has actually been my dream house and I was finally able to get it.” Kimberly said.

Kacey nodded her head and walked into her room.

“Good night Katherine.” Kimberly said sweetly.

“Please call me Kacey.” Kacey said as she shut the door.
