Chapter 1

there was a time when humans were superior to all other beings. A time when faeries, werewolves, witches and all the other creatures were rumored to be myths. A time children had nothing to be scared of other than simple stories of the boogieman and such.

Little did they know that they were all in danger for the other beings had decided they'd had enough they had pleaded with the gods asking them for a new more superior species, something practically indestructible, something that would give them all a chance. But the gods had other plans for they were not content.

They were angry with the beings already put on the earth for they were supposed to get along they were supposed to solve all conflicts on their own and yet the ones that were weakest were the ones whom overruled all others.

Oh, yes these angry gods had other plans bigger plans, they decided the humans deserved an enemy like no other. But whilst their plan was in the making something had gone terribly wrong one of them had done something horrible! Giving their new creations an acute thirst for blood.

And thus the beautiful Fahris was named Goddess of Destruction; for that was exactly what these new creatures brought. Destruction to all the other beings for their thirst for blood was too great to be satisfied. She had given her children the name archaic, vampyre or what became better known as vampires.

these creatures were neither dead nor alive they were something in between and Fahris saw it also fit to give these children of hers the ability to turn other beings into one of their own. And so these vampires started to grow in number and as they did the other creatures were being put on the brink of extinction. When the other Gods and Goddesses started to take notice of this they confronted Fahris and threatened her saying that it could be placed as a crime to end the other Gods and Goddesses creations.

As she did not wish to face the others in a trial she decided that what was best was to give her children all a soulmate. Another part of themselves someone that could help stop their endless feasting on blood. Of course blood was part of what kept them alive so they could never truly stop drinking it, but they could have a lesser need for it.

Thus she gave them all a soulmate and to do so she had split all their souls in half.Start writing here…
