Hetalia Units: Omaira's Story

Opening her door, Omaira groans as she closed the door with her foot. Her little chocolate chihuahua, running through her legs, barking excitedly to see her owner return home. Her smooth coat brush against her bronze skin. Expertly, she removes the trace of aggravation and annoyance from her face. Her face controlled in a way that she ultimately called her poker face.

“Hey Clem, miss me?“, Omaira mused.

Clementyne pants as she tries to lick Omaira’s face until she finally did. Pleased to both her and her owner, she lure her to the kitchen. A routine that the tiny dog do when her most favorite person return home from work. Omaira’s night regimens are always the same. She goes to eat, mostly a bowl of cereal (Honey Smacks to be specific), takes a shower, and finally fall asleep watching late night reruns like George Lopez or Family Guy.

The next morning begins her off day. Omaira has much planned today like cleaning the house, grocery shopping, pet shopping, walking, and washing her hair. All with Clementyne by her side, because she didn’t need anyone else in her life. The one who was in her life, her grandma, passed away months ago. Her family only want her inheritance and she’ll be damn if they get it. A shaking motion tore her from her thoughts, her phone, a slightly cracked one, displayed a notification about a free gift prize from a company abbreviated FMB from her email.

“Junk.“, Omaira groans as she close her phone. Clementyne’s snores filled the silence in the room. A slight smile appeared, Omaira’s real smile. Only her puppy can do that. Going to her bathroom, she removes her charmeuse satin bonnet revealing her mostly black hair. Her frizzy hair mushed upon each other, strands reaching her back crossed each other roughly as other strands sat on her left side like a cake tilting slowly off the stand. Reaching her hands in it and combing the tangles hurt both her head and fingers.

“Tch.”

She continues on with her morning procedure. After she securing her mini backpack, she and her mini dog walk to the nearest pet shop. The weather is nice for a heatwave, not unbearably hot, but not hot enough for a heat haze. The citizens of this small town were already starting their day; rushing to the nearest coffee shop, going into work, jogging, etc. Omaira would’ve greet people, but working in the food industry a.k.a. waitress/cashier. She recognized most of the middle-aged joggers as yesterday’s rushers. Horribly ruined the staff’s mood instantly especially the ones who work extra shifts. Remember off day Andy. , Omaira stress to herself, You have two days off, so make the most before returning to hell.

Oh yes, two days she was given off before she tackles the weekend shifts. Around a corner, Omaira finds it.

Lilith’s Pet Shop, a dark looking shop, the bulk of the city thinks this is a pet play shop. But this pet supply store has everything for your canines and felines; pet accessories, food, supplies, treats, and a touch of grooming. Omaira adores it because of it’s “hidden” while Clementyne loves the home-made treats.

Next is Walmart, gathering a few items. Those items aren’t much, just some shampoo, conditioner, elastic bands, scrunchies, milk, batteries, and phone card. Omaira glanced around listening to “Wiggle It” by French Montana. Until her phone vibrated again, revealing the same notification from this morning. Peering more at it, she realized that she never read it.
