Falling my children's teacher

Nikki entered the school having left her ex-partner at home with all 4 of their children whilst she did parents evening. It was just easier without having 4 children, although well behaved, squabbling over who's work was better. Seeing the first teacher, she gushed with pride as they gave a glowing a report. "You should be very proud of the history work they have produced this term, its some of the most astounding work I've ever seen" Nikki grinned like a chesire cat knowing her little history buff would go far.

The second teacher collard her a she went to sit and wait her turn and asked her to come in. Surprised, Nikki noted the SENCO follow in behind her. "I'm sure your aware but we have some concerns regarding Sarah's behaviour recently. We'd like to talk to you about our concerns and put a quick plan of action in place" Her youngest had always been quirky and had her little traits. She knew it was coming but still hurt hearing it. Sighing and nodding i knuckled down to hear what they had to say. It was a tough meeting but Nikki knew deep down it would help long term. She passed on her thanks and left to find the last teacher of the night for her twins.

The teacher next was Chris. He was the secret but not so secret man crush every female mum at the school. She felt sorry for him being the subject of hot gossip every day but none the less she was no less immune to his good looks.

Chris had a warming presence around him which made her feel grounded. Since splitting with her partner he had a been a real source of objectiveness and support. Her older 2 had struggled with the split and he had helped them come to terms with having time apart from both parents. Something she was very grateful for. “Hi Nikki" he said as he greeted her with a warm smile. Her insides squirmed but she shock it off and smiled back. “I'll just see Jacobs parents and then ill be right with you" he said ushering them in. I nodded as he gave me a warm smile closing the door.

As she read through schoolwork, she heard a commotion downstairs. A parent seemed angry over something. Shrugging her shoulders she checked her emails and txt her ex to check the kids were going to bed. She normally has an earlier slot but with sleepless nights she handed her form in late so she took what no one else wanted.
