Down below
Where any sea creatures roams wild and free, peacful,calm.
Down below where the world is untouched. The land of merfolk roam, mer-offspring swam around, others learning to swim, a couple of them playing around with dolphins after learning to swim a day or so ago.
Young merboys and girls swam around playful battle games and race each other to see who's faster.
The young mergirls played with dolls, or dress up or house with either sea horses or the friendly calves of on looking dolphin mamas.
The boys who were coming of age trained by some guards of the kingdom, the girls were trained to be beautiful very well respected women, some learn how to care for the infant merbabies or house work
The teens looking after the younger ones would tell you infants are much better than looking after, onces they learn to swim.
The babies that learn to swim, they cannot stay still it is always go go go. The only time theres relaxation was either snack/lunch time or nap time, nap time was the best time for young maidens to have time for themselves.
In the castle, the King Tanus ruled the ocean with love, respect and fairness. He maybe soft at times but the merking could be viciously cruel.
The man was a proud father of 6 offsprings. 3 handsome sons and 3 beautiful maidens, mate was pregnant with their last pup,thier last offspring. He was a busy man looking after the kingdom, but Tanus is papa at home, some times he'd bring his younger babies with him around the kingdom, or welcoming new merfolk from neighboring kingdoms who need refuge, help dolphins, or any pregnant sea mama welcome thier own babies to the world.
His kids loved playing with dolphins and each had some of thier own. The young kids had the calves of the mothers and fathers.
He spoiled his children anything they wanted, anything thier hearts desire he'd get it. The only thing he refuses to grand was to venture to the up.
The up was where the two legged creatures lived, but what he does for his young was to allow them to venture one time their 16th birthday and each come back home reporting they didnt like it as much, except for one child of his...that one pup that refuses to listen at times.
Kai, his 3rd older son.
Being the 3rd oldest kai was smart, curious, an excellent fighter and very attractive. It bothered the king that his son wasn't courting none of the maidens of the kingdom. Two of his older sons already had mates and wished to have a life away from the kingdom so they could try have families of thier own, kai was the only boy left.
Speaking of which....where is that boy today? The merking thought coming home with his two pups who were passed out in his arms.
