"I thought it was a great read but the spelling errors and sentence structure where the wrong words were used was horrific, it drove me crazy. But I did like the story and it was hard to put down. It won't let me post this review saying it's too short. That's all I've got."

"I like how the story starts off at the scene of the crime after which DS Chris Martin, Jonnie, and Sam proceed to solve the entire case. The imagery in this story is not as detailed as I would have liked it to be, and it’s difficult for me to imagine the surroundings that you’ve tried to portray. However, you’ve made up for it by investing time and effort into character development, and I feel I can really connect to the people in this story. Another thing I really liked is how this story made me aware that kids all over the world live in homes with abusive and negligent parents. The story brings to light the reality of these issues and how people are affected by their past; something that I have never really connected with before reading this. I love this story because although it’s a mystery/thriller, it goes far beyond these boundaries and teaches the readers how compassion and trust shape a person’s habits and beliefs."
