"The story about a war, about the influence and the pressure of politics is something that is always present, no matter when the story is written and when the readers read it. It is seemingly a classic war romance, but going into an unexpected direction. The good thing is that the story is not completely predictable. There are all the elements necessary to set the scene of a war; to show the real situation which is tragic, but also brings happiness in the little things. The style of writing is good, and it is evident that the author is really talented and intuitive, able to accurately describe and depict a war and what romance looks like in the period of wars. The tone is very serious, corresponding to the situation. There is a good flow to the story. The ending is unexpected, unpredictable, leaving the readers in anticipation and anxiety."
