Chapter 1
Oh shit! It's 7:00 am. I have to be in the set by 9:00 am. I have to call my team fast. I got out of the bed and called krithi, my manager to inform my team to come fast. I rushed to the bathroom after that and quickly showered and had my breakfast. It was 8:00 am by the time my vanity van has come. We quickly started my makeup and hair.
' Mam we have been informed that the your partner is not more than 6 feet' said krithi as I picked my favourite heels that go well with my outfit but the problem was they were 3 inches tall and I'll appear 6 feet in it.
' But this goes well with my outfit right and also don't you think he's gonna be wearing shoes with heals?' I said trying to justify my choice of heels.
' Well mam, if you think so..' krithi was against it but couldn't say anything.
' Relax kritz, it's gonna be ok' I said as I started wearing my heels.
We reached the set 10 minutes before. I was happy as I liked to be punctual. As soon as I started entering the set , I saw this guy Virat Kohli. From what I have seen on the field he's so arrogant. I will just do my work and leave.
As I walked towards him he said ' Didn't you get a higher pair of heels?'
' Excuse me?'
' No, I am just joking'.
It was evident that he's nervous. Maybe he's not as bad as I thought him to be. Or maybe it's to early to make a decision. This shooting is for a week anyway so let's see how it goes.
Day one shoot went on quite smoothly. We shot the commercial today there a few more left to do. I must admit he's a good actor and also handsome and he's behaving well too. Or maybe he's too good as an actor and just covering it. Let's see.
Next day:
Had an early shoot today. I woke up and hurriedly went to the spot. As soon as I entered I saw everyone busy with their own works but Virat was no where seen. Our director saw me and asked me to be ready in 10 minutes. I wanted to use the washroom and while I was going there I saw Virat talking on phone. He was visibly disturbed. I wasn't sure what's happening and I went past him.
We shot a promotional video for the shampoo. The shoot lasted for 7-8 hours and we packed up by at 6:00 p.m. There were still a few things left to shoot. After packup we all were talking to each other and I noticed again that Virat wasn't there. I stood up and started looking for him. He was again on his phone and I could see his tears. He then stopped talking on phone but was still crying.I wanted to go and talk to him but I couldn't do that as we weren't close. I felt he might not like to share his personal information with me.
As I was perplexed about going to him or not, he noticed me standing there and quickly wiped his tears. I have decided to go and talk to him. I went and sat beside him and started talking,'. I know we aren't close but you ain't alright. I have been noticing you since morning. You can share your problem with me. I don't have the intention of invading your privacy but I just wanted to help you. I mean...' , as I was talking he interrupted me by saying
' Me and my girlfriend Izabelle broke up. We started dating a few months ago. Initially it was all good but we started having many differences and she's living the country today and we have finally decided to break up.'
'Well that's a good thing right'.
' Excuse me?'
'I mean you were not happy being together right. It's better to part ways and be happy than being together and being sad. I have also been there and I know what it feels like. But you are gonna be ok. And you will find your special one. Don't worry' , I explained.
' I am not so sad as it's mutual break up. But I got attached to her so it's gonna take time to move on but I will be fine. And thanks for bothering to come and talk to me.'
' You need not thank me. Its fine. I was thinking if you wouldn't like it if I come and talk to you about this. But thank God you are cool about it.'
' You know what I was so nervous to talk to you yesterday as you are such a big actress but now I understood that you are a very different person.'
' Well I can say the same about you too. Your on field aggression made me feel you are same in real life too and your female fans and all I just couldn't like you. But you are not like that at all.' I said.
He laughed and said, ' We both have learnt something about the other.' Just when I was about to reply to him my phone rang. It was krithi asking where I was.
' Well then, I have to go. Will see you tomorrow. Bye.' I said as I stood up to leave.
' Bye and yeah thanks again for coming and talking to me. Let's meet tomorrow.' he said with a smile on his face.
