Hello everyone, this is the first time I have ever wrote a book for anyone to see. I hope you like it!

Once summer I was playing with a ball and it bounced into tree. I climbed up into the tree to get it a realized it was over the water and this was the deep water. I started to panic and froze for a minuet where I was, once I calmed my heart that was running a million miles an hour, I started moving slowly again when I was starting to get close to the ball, I heard a voice. right then I lost my footing in the tree and I fell falling into the water. I struggled to try to get to the surface but was failing I couldn't swim. This is it at 10 years old I am going to die. I don't know how long I was under the water but my body was burning and I was desperate for air. Then a miracle happened, someone was pulling me out of the water. As soon as I broke the water I took a huge gasp of Air then started coughing.

As soon as we got to land the person put me on the ground and sat down next to me probably tired from saving me. As soon as i got my breath back I said "Thank you, for saving me." They took a breath and said "Your welcome, what the hell was you thinking climbing that tree, if you couldn't swim?" he said. Finally I got enough energy back to open my eyes and try to sit up. "The only thing I was thinking about was getting my ball back." I said after I sat up. I looked over at him I realized my savior was Damon a boy from my school that is 3 years ahead of me. However, he was only just a year and a half older then me. "Well you should have paid more attention, its a good thing you fell and I was here because otherwise that venomous snake that is holding you ball hostage would have bite you and you would be dead in less then 30 minuets.

Thinking about what he said and looked over and seen the snake realizing that he just saved my life twice in under 5 minuets. then another thing hit me, no one else knows this lake exists, as well its on my parents private property. "H-How did you find this place?" He sighed and said I was looking for you at your parents request.

"Huh, they have never done that before." We get up and start walking back towards the house. Its a 15 minute walk back after 5 minutes of silence and me going over every possible scenario in my head, I ask "Do you know what is going on?" He glanced me and said "No, all I know is my mother and father came to me a few hours ago saying that we had a vary important meeting this afternoon, they wouldn't tell me any more then that, then we get here and after a few minuets of them talking, I was bored and kind of zoned out, until dad told me to go find you and bring you back here. Your mom told me you was most likely on your trail, I didn't know there was a lake back there." I thought about it some more and it probably had something to do with dads business he never told me anything about it and I have never been involved in the meeting but it must have something to do with the Damon being there. I ask "Hey Damon, are you normally at the meetings?" He thought for a second before answering, "No, I have never been to any of dads meetings, I don't even know what he does. We are fixing to find out what this is about though." He says as we enter the clearing.

We look up towards the house and in the window to the study I see our parents shaking hands as if they finished up a deal. We walk inside and I hear My dad laughing. We walk into where our parents are and they look over to us and my mothers smile dropped she asked "Why are you too all wet?" Damon and I share a glance and I say "I fell into some water and can't swim Damon jumped in after me." My mother frowned go get changed quickly we have something to discuses. I walked out of the room Damon right behind me "Hey, do you happen to have a dry shirt that don't look to girly?" I stop "Yeah, come on I will find it." We go up to my room and I find Damon a black button up and I find a pair of jeans and A blue tank top. I go to the bathroom and change. When I come out I find Damon has already changed and is waiting for me.

We go down stairs to find out parents are sitting on the couches around the coffee table still talking about something. We go in and take a seat next to our parents. "Good you too are back. I guess now we can get started on what is going to happen." Damon's father says My father then says "Kimberly, You and Damon will be Married soon after your 18th birthday. Then you two will live here." He pointed to the blue print Damon and I both, we locked eyes the faced our fathers and said at the same time "No" "Not Happening" His father said in a powerful voice "This IS happening. Once you too are Married Damon will inherit our company's."
