Evolution

Evolution is a fickle queen who demands respect from everyone around her. She can be kind to some; such as allowing technology, education, and more. At times she can also be cruel; such as slavery, inequality, and more. As humans we were led to believe we are the most evolved species. That nothing controls us, as we control the environment around us. Little did we know that those who thought that way were going to be the downfall of humanity.

Many years ago in 2021 women began to believe we no longer needed men. We were able to create babies from bone marrow from another female. Women could pleasure each other better than the men could. The more they thought about it they began to truly believe that men weren’t needed.

By 2031 Karen Thompson had been voted into the White House. She had won by empowering women all around the world to stand with her. She wanted to make the world better but she ended up doing the exact opposite. She began by outlawing any religion that viewed women as second to men. Moving forward she began to separate men accused of abuse, rape, or trafficking of women and children to a secluded section of the U.S. When she was finished she was loved and voted in for another four years. Other countries began to follow her lead and did the same.

In 2034 when the secluded areas Karen Thompson created began to be overpopulated rumors started to spread of men disappearing. At first no one thought much about it due to them being a horrendous part of humanity. Most figured they deserved it due to the abuse they caused. No one really understood what was going on until it was too late. Karen Thompson began to round up innocent men and put them away. At first she made it seem as if they had done something wrong so no one complained.

In the end Karen Thompson called Marshall law in 2035. The truth of what she had been doing had been leaked by one of her staff. She moved forward with her plan with little to no resistance.

Karen had planned everything perfectly, half the country loved her for the protection she offered the other half was too busy hiding their men. She began to round up all the men of the world regardless if they were innocent or guilty of a crime. People just watched as families were torn apart, husbands torn from their wife’s, fathers torn from their children, and sons torn from their mothers. No male was safe from her horrible crusade to rid the world of men. Women that tried to stand up to her were torn down by the military. At this point everyone in the military and government positions were women that agreed with her completely.

By 2040 Karen Thompson had complete control and had wiped out most of the male population. She began to lock the last of them up as if they were trophies from a long ago war. No one knew where she kept them, just that she had only a few left.

By 2046 Karen Thompson had wiped all men from the world. She proceeded to rule as queen over those who were left and decreed that all babies born were to be female only. The next few years were dark ones because we had not figured out how to only make females. So when a male baby was born they were taken from the mothers never to be seen again.

In 2049 we finally figured out how to make only female babies and we were successful. Years proceeded to pass without any other issue. Karen was kind as rulers go and never did anything to her subjects that could be deemed cruel. Many people began to forget the horrible years and moved forward in their lives believing every word that she fed them.

In 2055 was when things began to fall apart again. As we continued creating female babies we didn’t realize the damage we were doing to their genetics. Soon our children began to test infertile and unable to have children of their own.

We were a dying race by 2056.
