Chapter One:
D A T E N I G H T.0
He knew he was staring at her, but he didn't care he wanted her to know that she has caught his eye. "Did you lose something sir?" she asked her voice oh her voice sounding like chocolate bars coated in caramel sauce. "Hello?" He did not realise that he did not answer her. "Uhm, yes sorry for the inconvenience miss it is just that you radiate pure beauty and integrity that I am in awe of you...truly am."
"Thank you for the compliment sir but I do not take lightly to flattery this my good sir won't take you anywhere, now as I asked you before did you lose something?" He stood there dumbstruck ,he did not know how to respond to the womans statement instead of answering the first question he sticks his arm out. "I am Jan, Jan Rupert and you are?" The woman scoffs out of disbelief and disgust.
"Are you supposed to be my blind date? Sorry this must be a mistake son I am not your type as you can see." She stands up and excuses the young man "Sorry..please get out of my way can you not see I want to leave!" She let's out somewhat frustrated. "But i thought we were here for dinner?" He says and she looks up at him and snarls. "I will say this one more time I am not your type." Everybody in the restaurant turns to look up at the pair.
"Oh and what is your type if I may ask?" She sighs and sits back down "If you cannot see i am slightly older than you Jan, i do not date small boys and i am sorry if I have lead you on in anyway." Jan sits and pours himself a glass of wine ,deciding to ignore her whole statement he says "What is your name?" The woman brushes her hands down her face , she takes a sip of wine that the young man poured for her. She takes a huge breath "I am Annete Skaarls and again I am going to tell you -" her sentence is cut short and mimicked by the young man "- Yeah i am not your type and what else is that all?" Annete gasps and thinks to herself of how rude this man was. "I beg your pardon?"
"Let's face this once and for all Annete ,this little play you putting on right here is not going to work, now I suggest you sit down and we eat, i may not be your type not near your age but I know this your hungry." As soon as after the young man said that her stomach growled and she mentally scolded her stomach for reacting the way it did. She realised this was a losing battle seeing as she was really hungry. "Fine just this once and after dinner i am going home." The young man smiled and all she did was stare at him. What has she gotten herself into she asked.

Annete took a cab after eating dinner and as she told the young man she would never see him again and as soon as she got to her laptop and blocked him from her account. She then took out her phone and she blocked the young man's number from her phone that was the last time she was ever getting advice from her neighbour again. She went into her room to change into something comfortable when she came back in the living room planning to choose a movie and eat till the sun came up but something felt strange until someone stood up from the couch and she panicked, she remembered locking the door and her windows when she came in or was she delusional?
"Who are you and what are you doing in my house....you better speak up fore I call the police!" Just then the shadow shifts and the man turns around "Jan how did you get in?" The young man smiles wickedly "My boss is waiting for you Ruby. " Annete was mortified no one knew about her name and she wondered how Kane found her.
She scrambled towards the stairs and started throwing objects in the direction of the intruder. Something catches Annete by her foot and when she looks back it was another man that was hidden well under her stair cases, panic rushes into her as she sees Jan catching up, she takes an umbrella that was lying next to her and she stabs the foot - grabber and she makes a run for it. She never imagined the day where she'd be found let alone by her ex.
She quickly analyses her surroundings and looks at the window...there was only one choice then and there die or jump through the window she went with the second option and jumped through the window. Pieces of glass got into her skin but she did not care as long as she got away from her bounty hunters.
As she limped towards the bus waiting area she did not see the oncoming car coming towards her and she got hit by it , her last thought was as long as she died on the account of a car and not her ex.
Her eyes shut and nothing else was seen nor heard.
