Preface: "The Curious Adventures of the Stray Otaku"
Once, a distant friend of mine told me that my life would make a fantastic book. I bet him that I’d never been able to finish it. Considering my horrid attention span and my nonexistent ability to stay focused, I was sure to win. Well, if you are reading this and you are not my editor or someone I’ve personally shown this to form an opinion, well, I’m out $50. But I digress, the way my mind wanders; I’ve had ideas that others would call strange. However, I like to call them to bat shit. The sheer insanity in the thoughts and possible creations I’ve concocted over the years have certainly been off-kilter. And in this book, I’ll present them in a manner that may be different books of this verity. Rather than chronologically regurgitating my life events, I will be writing them as I recall them. Sometimes I may delve into the darker parts of my life, and they are pretty dark; other stories are rather light-hearted and may give you a chuckle. So, without further ado, here is my account of my life and the weird ideas and adventures I’ve had.
