The Midnight Moon Pack had changed so much over seventeen years. The pack continued to flourish and expand, mates were found and pups were born, the pack was strong. Alpha Ace and Luna Mia were a kind and compassionate Alpha pair and instilled their beliefs and leadership tactics on their four children - Cole (17), Nick and Nathan (16) and their daughter Arabella (15).
Cole was turning eighteen in a few short weeks and Luna Mia could not contain her excitement or her sadness that her first born was ready to take over the pack, it felt like yesterday she held Cole in her arms. Seventeen almost eighteen years is a long time Mia thought to herself as she stared at her reflection in the mirror. Ace stepped behind his beautiful mate, wrapping his arms around her, placing his nose in her neck to inhale her scent. The love the two had for each other only growing as time continued. Mia sighed and turned, facing her mate and pulling at the hair on the nape of his neck. Mia couldn't help but let her mind wander and think of the impending battle, unknown to her pack or her children. It was true they had seventeen years so far of waiting, and with Cole coming of age she could not help but wonder if the time was upon them. A war was coming and the last year had proven Alpha Kyle was becoming restless, his pack was dying. He was becoming angry, reckless and he was becoming more dangerous. The threat imminent, Mia held tight to her mate, clinging to the bond, knowing the time was coming where everything would change.
