Chapter 1
It was the night of celebration for my 21st birthday. We were heading to the Styr bar hoping to get free drinks, the reviews of the bar were five stars on Yelp. The Styr bar had open at 10 p.m we decided to get there an hour later. The brigh neon lights shimmering through the night felt like a hollywood runaway scence. We were walking through the streets of New York City just the four us.
The wind blowing through Letty blond strands of hair made her look like a Victoria secret model. Her hoops dangling with her red cherry lipstick made her olive green eyes stand out. Her diamond ring stood out more she was thrilled of excitement for her wedding in December. Only if she knew the truth about her boyfriend. Letty met Trevor in our sophmore year she was his math tutor he was a senior student failing his algebra class.
The two of us knew, Natalie and I we decided to keep it a secret between us it was Natalie fault that it had happen.
I remember Natalie eyes filled with betrayal and anger. She was getting out of the pool trying to hold onto me begging for me to not walk away. “It’s not looks like Olive, he did it.” She was shaking from the cold.
Everybody had been drinking to much at Trevor house for his college graduation party. Two months just before he proposed to Letty. Aylin was inside with her to get more drinks they were taking a while to come outside.
We arrived at the bar the poster of Marylin Monroe hanging perfectly above the pastel pink chairs gave it a ’50s theme vibe.
It was filled with younger and older men some were married. Aylin was making her way to the front where the bartender was making drinks. The rest of us follow her from the corner of my eye there were couples making out. One man had his hand rubbing underneath a woman tight dress while she was sitting on top of him. I could hear her moaning ” deeper, tease me.” He began kissing on her neck and slowly reaching for her neck. Her hands were handcuffs behind her.
“I would like four tequlia shot drink.” Natalie ordering us drink. It was a thing we did we always take a shot. “Drink up girls for Olivia birthday.” Letty raising her shot glass.
We took our sits and started singing to the music that was beganing to play. These lyrics took me back to our freshman year of highschool where we all met. ” Don’t you ever find nobody than us.”
