"While I'm still busy reading(kinda slow on that xD), this is one I'm going to genuinely recommend to everyone who's a fan of both action and greatly paced romance. The MCs are very likeable and barely a few chaps in you can't help but root for them, while the style of the author makes them feel very human. There's both place for humor and nail-biting action, which I honestly appreciate. Overall, great job and I'm going to enjoy further following Liam's and Taito's adventures! Thank you for writing and sharing!"

Amazing Story!
"The story starts with so much action that it's so easy to continue reading the book is a real page-turner and only continues to get more tense as it goes on. By chapter 3 I was already invested in Liam and felt i understood him making him easy to sympathise with. The Descriptions are immersive and the dialogue is strong, advancing the plot well and adding more to the characters. Sometimes despite the good descriptions it can be a little bulky and slow the pacing down. Occasionally some telling over showing but after 8 chapters read this is still rare and never causes much damage to the story, both are minor gripes. Really recommend and a really impressive book. Well done!! : )"

"I am not a fan of romance, simply because I find them predictable and mushy, often OTT and with lots of talking... As a reader, I usually give them a few chapters before I check out. Yet sometimes I come across stories where the characters shine, their emotions draw me into their world, and I root for a happy ending. Amidst the Storm is one of those stories. Hats off to Rai for writing characters who are so realistic I could imagine the scenes and balancing action with emotion. That is a winning combo. Liam and Taito are adorable, and the development of their relationship from friends to lovers is sublime. Scenes such as the Christmas gift exchange melted my heart. Yet there is not a boring moment. Amidst the storm of bullets flying, dangerous missions, life and death situations, love blooms. Thank you Ria for writing such a beautiful yet exciting story. "

"What a wonderful novel so far! I figured I’d offer an early review after just under half the book read since you shouldn’t miss out on reading this novel. You can see a romance budding in early stages and it’s slight and not too overdone, realistic if even and I appreciate the realism of it. Beyond that, the MC are wonderfully crafted and real as well. I like military movies naturally and this made me feel as if I was watching / and in one. The action is specific and accurate. Thanks for writing a nice tale."
