Chapter 1 vito arrives back
It's February 5th 1945 and vito returns from the war after getting a medal for his war victory. As vito would arrive with Joe picking up vito from his train arrival. During vito war time victory Joe has been in contact with vinci made men Carmelo Fiorelli who is 54 in 1943 so by 1945 he 56 as he was working for vinci since he was 18 as he decide to allow Joe to work for him as vito is stuck in the war. During the war Joe would help carmelo get money from his small racket and this is when Joe first meet Frank vinci head of the family.0
"Boss this is the kid who I was talking about Joe barbaro his name and Joe this is the boss of the vinci family Frank vinci."
"Nice to meet you Mr vinci its an honour for you to meet me."
" Yeah kid it is I see you can handle yourself from carmelo good spirits I can see you being the future of vinci and I hope you can see the same."
"Yeah Mr vinci I'm only here to help us be the biggest family and I got one more request if you don't mind.".
"I don't go ahead."
"My best friend named vito scaletta is currently fighting for us in world war 2 in operation husky and he can be good potential for us as he the brains of the duo."
"Ah like me and Leo il consider you and carmelo can go now." As Joe and carmelo would leave and decide to do some more action as Joe is with carmelo alot due to the fact he still an associate not a made men and can't be alone. As one day Joe and carmelo would be out and would meet up in a deal with the greeser and it would go wrong ad Joe and carmelo would survive and get the money back to there safehouse as they would make money from the job.
Joe first two jobs working for vinci in 1944 would get him $1000 each as joe is slowly working up by 1945 he is able to pick up vito from his train as he decide to drive in his new car which was a Lassiter Series 69. As he drives to the train station he would see vito and his suitcase and approached the confuse vito as he doesn't notice how long it been. As the two would have a conversation with carmelo at the back of the car.
"So Joe want to introduce me everything."
"Vito the guy here is carmelo Fiorelli he is a made men and High rank of the vinci family as I been working for him since you were in the war. Matter of fact you are able to work with him as they looking for another man who loyal and a good earner and carmelo is the wise guy we grew up idolising. We'll carmelo here your stop il see you around." As vito and Joe drop carmelo outside his home as joe and vito drive off. As they arrive back vito would be dropped back to his mom and sister home as Joe would tell him to meet him tomarrow at his place.
During the 2 days break vito would go to the Docks and see Derek and Steve as vito is able to get enough to pay back his father debt as his mother worry about vito wellbeing and allow vito to work for Derek and Steve at the Docks.
