Distracted

I throw my hair into a messy bun and I walk to my bathroom. I wash my face and brush my teeth. After I dry my face and I put my toothbrush up, I walk out of my bathroom and to my closet. I search through my closet. I find a Maroon colored Sweater and a pair of jeans. I change out of my pajama´s and I then sit on my bed.

I put socks on and then my combat boots, Then I hear someone knock on my dorm door. I stand and walk to the door. I open the door and Gasp at who I see. ¨Hope!¨ I exclaim excitedly. ¨Hey Alexis!" Hope looks at me. ¨When did you get back from New Orleans?¨ I step aside letting her into my dorm. ¨Last night, It was good seeing Marcel and Aunt Freya.¨ Hope Answers my question. I smile widely, I embrace hope in a tight hug. The bell rings and Dr.Saltzmans Voice comes on over to Microphone.

¨Hello Students today we will continue to have the Talent show.¨ Then the speaker cuts off.

¨Well hope I have a class with Dorian so I gotta go.¨ I let go of Hope. I walk towards my dorm door. I walk down the hallway. Everyone I pass by, staring at me. I walk to Dorian's class. I sit down beside Landon Kurby, A good friend of mine and Josie's boyfriend. "So hopes back, Anything happen?" Landon asks me, with a smirk pulling at his lips. I roll my eyes "Nope just a hug and nothing more." I reply, Innocently. Roman, a man of his word but a vampire walks into the class. I haven't seen him in years but who knows he was locked up in an underground prison for vampires in New Orleans. I realize that I'm staring at him when Landon clears his throat. "What? I don't like him I just haven't seen him a while." I say putting my hands up in defense.

Landon looks at me like he's reading my mind, and then he opens his mouth to say something until Dorian walks into the class. "Just tell me later" I mouth to Landon, Landon nods his head. "Okay everyone, today we will be learning Offensive magic." Dorian states. I notice Roman looking at me and smiling. I smile back trying to be polite and I wave.

(Time skip I know its early in the book but Idk what to write for during class)

I stand up and stretch while Everyone but me and Landon leaves. "What were you going to tell me?" I ask Landon grabbing my Notebook, binder, and pencil. "That you and Ms.Mikelson would make a great couple." Landon blurts out. I can tell by Landons expression my cheeks are a crimson red. "No, we wouldn't, You're just saying that cause you think i like her," I mumble just enough for Landon to hear. "Oh C'mon we all can tell you like her. It's practically, Visible. Alexis everyone can read you like a book. Unless your mad or worried or sad then well that's hard to read." Oh shut the hell up Landon, I and Hope are just friends" I reply holding my things to my Midsection and holding it there as I and Landon walk to Dr. Saltzman's office.

"Landon you should go, Dr.Saltzman needs me and I need to talk to him about something." I look at Landon, "fine fine, but you got to tell me what happened when you get out. Okay?" Landon has that dad look on his face. I nod my head. I knock on the Door of The office. "Come in." I can hear a raspy voice say. I turn the knob and i walk in. I survey my surroundings and i Notice MG, Kaleb, Hope, Josie, and Lizzie all in there. "Uhm, Am i in trouble?" I ask Dr.Saltzman. "No your not. I just received a call, and i need you 6 to go to Mystic Falls High School" Dr.Saltzman informs us all.

"Why?" Josie asks, "Because There were a few missing students, in the last week. I thought maybe you guys could help find them." dr. Saltzman States. I nod my head. i raise my hand, "Alexis, this ain't a class." Kaleb laughs a bit. "Yeah uhm right, Do we have to go?" I ask eagarly. Dr. Saltzman looks at me along with everyone else. "I mean like I would like to help the missing people but in my opinion, we don't know what we're walking into. I mean it could be vampire but who knows there are so, many more mysteries in the world than, Witches, Vampires, Werewolves. I mean hell, we went against a MUMMY! for gods sake." I look at all them sitting my stuff down.

Hope smiles, and crosses her legs leaning into the chair a bit "I like this new you" Hope smiles looking at me. "For gods sake just think about the possibility. We could be killed. Dr.Saltzman hear me out, I think maybe we should wait a few hours. Look into the cases and I vote we send me into mystic Falls High. Look all im saying is i know my way around. I know lot of people there. Most of you guys don't. So maybe i should go in and look around. If i contact you with what i think it is, then you can send the others. Just maybe i should do this." I state. Not everyone liked my offer.
"Hell No Alexis. I am not putting you in direct danger like i have before..." Dr.Saltzman excliams sounding genuinely, worried.
