Chapter 1: Who are you?
Lucy pov
I wake up. I heard my parents talking. I yawn. I look at the time. Its only 6am. I sigh.
I go into the kitchen to grab something to eat. I just recently finished high school.
Being a werewolf in all girl was hard. I didnt have much friends but it was relaxing.
I went to hang out with few of my friends. I look at the time. Its afternoon. I look at my friends.
I wish these peaceful days would last forever. I dont want it to change. Why would I?
I mean what good would it be if it changed. Probably chaos. I dont need to think about it because it will never happen to me.
I wake up the next morning. I hear my brothers but not my parents. I walk downstairs and check things out.
My brothers greeted me. They were happy to see me. Our parents are not home they said.
I nod and get ready. I walk outside and go to see my friends.
My friends tell me a story that a few alphas are looking for mates. I was like okay. I didnt care for alphas because they usually get what they want.
I didn't think I needed to know it. But it was bad that I didn't. Olivia said she wanted to marry one of them.
I didnt see it happening. Now or in the future. Olivia is my bestest friend I could ever ask for.
"Hey Lucy. Have you heard any good news for me?" She said jokely. "No. Sorry. Maybe next time." I say.
We talk until it's even. I have work tomorrow. I dont want to be late.
I go to bed. When I wake up the next morning. My parents knock at the door. I open up. They said there is someone to see me.
"Let me get changed first then I will greet them." I say. I get dressed then go downstairs. I see a male and my parents.
"Hello. Who is this?" I ask my parents. "This Savion. He is an alpha. He wishes to marry you." My mother said.
"What?!" I scream. I cant believe an alpha wanted to ask me out. Not just out. He wants to marry me.
"But why me? I am an omega. You are an alpha. You can have anyone you want." I say. He nods.
"I found you interesting. Olivia told me great things about you." He said.
Olivia was an alpha. She still stayed my friend throughout the years we knew each other.
"She did? But why not her? She is an alpha like yourself." I say. "Well. She didnt interest me as much as you did." He said.
"Are you sure you want me out anybody you can have?" I ask. "I am very sure with myself." He said and smiled softly.
I sigh. "Well. When is the marriage?" I ask him. "In 6 months." He said. "That quick?!" I say. He nods. "You cant be serious. That is to quick." I say.
"Well the wedding is already planned out. I dont think you have much of a choice here." He said. "I guess I dont. At least we can get to know each other better in the half of a year." I say.
"Well. I hope you can. I am an alpha of another pack." He said. I nod. He walks out. I fall onto the couch and start to cry. My peaceful life will be over.
Why did it have to happen to me? Why not someone else? Most girls dream of mating with a man like him. But I dont.
I wanted a quiet peaceful life. With no worries. Now I have worries and not sure what to do about it.
I should get ready for work. I guess I will chat with him later.
I go to work. After work. I talk to him again. He says he wants to hang with me over the weekend. I am not sure if I will ever be ready for this.
I will have a talk with Olivia and tell her what happened. I will see what she will say.
The next day. I talk to Olivia. "Hey Olivia. Do you know Savion?" I ask her.
She nods. "Yes I do. Why?" She asks. "Because he just proposed to me yesterday. And we are getting married in 6 months." I say.
She looks surprised. "Oh wow. I cant believe he would do it. But I guess I was wrong. Well I hope you have a happy life with him." She said.
I sigh. "I wanted a peaceful quiet life. Now it will be chaotic. I cant believe this." I say.
"Dont worry. It will get better. You have an awesome husband to be. Well other He may just want you to bear his child. So soon." She said.
"I am not ready to have kids. I am only 18. I think about it in the future. Not now." I say. She giggles. "Okay okay. Well I do hope it goes good for you." She said.
"I hope this will end. I just dreamt this whole thing. But I know it's all to real to be a dream." I say and sigh.
"Okay. Dont think to hard on it. You may get perks for being a mate to an alpha." She said.
"I hope so. Because I dont want it to be chaos. I want it to be very peaceful. Or somewhat." I say.
"Well. Let's hope for the best. And congratulations on your marriage proposal." She said. I nod and sigh again.
I get to work and try to take my mind off the whole mate thing with an alpha. I dont want to think about it right now.
Savion POV
Lucy was more beautiful than I imagined her. She was lovely. But she seemed upset that she had to marry me. I dont know why.
A lot of girls want to marry me. So why not her? I should ask her next time to see why. Maybe she just a little worried I will leave her.
Which I wouldn't do it. She is to cute and lovely to leave her. I want her all to myself.
Well I better get ready to go home.
Lucy pov
I get off work. I go home and go straight to my room.
My parents ask what I may want for dinner. I say it doesn't matter. "I am not sure that I am hungry." I say.
My mom sighs. "Well if you get hungry just come to me and I will make you something." She said.
"Okay. Thank you for the offer." I say and text my friends.
They don't answer me back until a hour later. I look at the time. I should get some food because I am getting hungry.
I ask my mom what I could eat. She gave me some what is leftover from dinner. She makes more food for me though just so I have more food than just a little food.
I thank her. "Mom." I say. "Yes dear?" She said. "Do I have to marry him?" I ask. "Well I would say you would have a choice. But he may say you will regret your decision. Just give it a try. See if he is the right person for you first before deciding if he is good or not." She said.
"Okay. I will try to get to know him. I will do my best to see if we get along." I say and leave after I finish eating. I go to bed. "Tomorrow is another great day. Cant wait for it." I say and fall asleep.
