Heartwarming Holiday Tale to Keep You Warm This Winter
"Literally, the title is so long because that's all I could think of. This is a grand retelling of a classic tale to show the untold side of Bob Crachit. You're greeted with a kind man who's soul weeped for his employer, Mister Scrooge, who was following the path of their departed boss, Mister Marley. Crachit's plea for Scrooge's soul to be saved was so heartfelt and tugged at every heartstring known to mankind and then some, the catalyst that then sends the ghosts to Scrooge that Christmas Eve. Using first person was a wise choice to further jump in his head and see all his reactions and thoughts to the events, then to his night spent with his children and the wonderful conversation he had with his wife, Emily. It was so well written and hooked the reader in from the first word to the last line. Wonderful job, Gwen, and thank you again for participating in the CC Workshop. Sorry for the delayed feedback, I really feel bad about that. "
