Wonderful
"My favourite thing in this novel is the amount of emotion invested in it. I like how the author walks us through suicidal thoughts until one is healed and given hope by love. Job well done. I am looking forward for more."
Great Book!
"Amelia Vale has again blown me away with another fantastic story. The farther I read into the book the more surprised I became by its secrets and new characters. the characters in this book not only tell their own story but they add on to lots of questions that have been brewing ever since Puppet came out. this next step in the trilogy is an eye opener to many new things and many new relationships. Tobias and Carter have brought me laughter and tears even after reading the story more then once. all I want now is for this story to become published so more people can experience this crazy adventure, and the love between these characters."
Would Buy in a Heartbeat
"Amelia Vale is such a talented author. I've been a fan of hers since she started sharing her stories. Carter and Tobias are a very powerful couple in very powerful circumstances with a very powerful love and this whole prequel made me laugh, cry, sob, and feel every emotion there is to feel. The backstories, their possible future, their hope in the hopelessness. I just can't believe how riveting Amelia Vale's stories are. She is an amazing story teller, authentic, beautiful, perfection. Great book!
"It has great insight to the rest of the trilogy and it adds personality and backstory to some of the great characters of puppet. A definate worthy read! Can't wait for the rest."
An great read which gives good insight to the main trilogy (first book of it so far anyway)
"From descriptions of pain and fear which evoke bare survival instincts to descriptions of romance, this story has it covered in a way which allows you to experience the journey of the protagonists through the use of two view points. A unique take on assassination-turned-romance, topped with an emphasis on culture to highlight the diversity of (whatever is left of) humanity. The characterization is fleek. A thorough mixture of heartwarming approval towards certain things which violate every theory of ethics and 'why the hell would you do that' brings out the inner satan, demanding you recheck your own asshollery levels. Punctuated with class and sass, it is definitely worth the read."
