“I’m going to miss you Jade!” “I’m going to miss you too!” I said sounding kind of happy but secretly sad inside. I felt so bad leaving my best friend. I only joined here in year 9 and I’m already leaving!! To go to Florida. Stupid Florida. Why did my parents choose to go to Florida? No idea. Everyone’s going to be rich. With the newest phone, shoes, clothes. I’m just going to look like the ‘nerd’. It’s unfair. There literally acting like it’s my “best Christmas present”. Why? I have a best friend here, good grades, friends. It’s like they don’t care about my social life, I know they don’t mean to do make me feel like it but it’s really annoying me. I have been pestering them for ages. They don’t care. I don’t think so anyway. I walked out of school. “How was school love?” My dad said with a smile on his face with the window open in the car. I walked towards the car. Not smiling fully, I said “fine I guess.”Deep down I know he knew how I felt. Tomorrow is my last day of being with my best friend. “Hey dad can you drive me town?” “sure.” “Wait here, okay?” I said taking off my seatbelt and getting out the car. “Okay.” I walked around town. I only had about £150. I didn’t care at this point. I felt like crying deep inside. All the memories, all the photos and videos. I try to forgot about it but I just can’t. I try to find the best last Christmas present for her. I know she wanted this Pandora bracelet. £90. I bought it. Not regretting it, I walked back to the car. dad drove me home not saying a word.
