Chapter 1- new year, gone wrong!
Jessica's POV
We gathered exactly at 12 as decided!
We danced around to random songs, played games and FOOD of course.
It was all good, until Steph felt dizzy.
We were so drowned in the mood of New year also the last New year we get to celebrate at our school, to even notice
"I'm just gonna go back, I don't feel good" Steph said getting up
"Hey, what's wrong? You okay !?" Sebastian asked and we all turned towards them
She clearly wasn't okay but, I didn't want her to leave alone
"Don't leave now, just go inside and wash up, you might feel better or sit back in those classrooms. We'll go together, in awhile" I said and she looked at me, like I sentenced her death
I just shrugged, she went inside, blabbering something
We continued our party or whatever that was, till almost 2 a.m. When we all got tired, we decided to leave. Since, everyone else was quite drunk I had to bring Steph back, she hasn't returned since then. She is not receiving our calls either, I told everyone to get going and that I'll come back with Steph.
Everyone left.
I entered the school building and walked past the corridor, feeling a little scared. It's pitch dark, and I'm alone. I've never been here at this time.Where did this girl even disappear!
I called her a few times, maybe she slept. I checked in the girls washroom, it's more scary and there's nothing to be seen. At last I went into our assembly hall, just in case. Steph wasn't there, but I found her phone and purse.
I suddenly felt scared. Why had she left her stuff here and where is she !?
I don't know why, but I felt like something's wrong. I came out of the hall and stood there for a moment.
Neither did I want to stay nor can I leave without her.
Just then, I heard music playing somewhere. I shot open my eyes, "the ghosts are partying" "can they do that" "new year !!!???"
Bruhhhh ! What's even going on ???
I wasn't sure of where the sound was coming from, but I can say it's somewhere around.
I ran, to the building right beside the one I was roaming in and stopped near one of the classes. There are many buildings here and I only know mine. the sound of music was getting louder. I stopped in front of a big room or I don't know what.
I had no idea of what I was doing. Our classes are limited to the building on the other side and that's all I know.The sound's clearly coming from here and the lights are on, so who's in there. I thought we were alone in the campus today, there's someone else too !? How, when did they get in ???
"Okay, I'm doing this I have to I can't leave without Steph, I don't care who's inside"
with that, I put all my strength and pushed the big ass door open
"Holy shit" I gasped as soon as it opened
There are probably more than 40 people in here. I looked at them my mouth wide open, and they had the same reaction.
They'll seem to be extremely rich, look at those jackets and boots OMG !!!!!
"Jess, I'm here-" Steph tried saying and stopped
The next thing, I saw literally boiled my blood in anger. Two guys were touching Steph, inappropriately. They've closed her mouth and she's struggling.
Her clothes are ripped and she's a mess.
How dare they even touch her !?
I went upto them.
"You bitch" I slapped the blonde hair guy, who was touching her. I'm not exactly strong, but I work on my abs everyday.
"Owww, that was rough" the guy, said rubbing his cheek
If only I could pull his pants down, right here in front of everyone so that he knows how it feels. But, that's something I can't do.
"Steph, let's go" I said holding her hands But, before we could walk out those guys came & blocked our way.
I swear, I was losing it.
"What do you think, you're doing?" The same blonde asked
"Let us go , if you don't want any serious trouble" I said totally frustrated
"Oh, got some guts huh. Leave her alone, I'm not done yet. Moreover, you hit me, and I'm letting that pass" he said checking Steph out as she held my hands tighter
"Just fuck off, I don't have time for your bullshit" I said looking at him straight in the eyes
"Look, you probably don't know us and that's why you're being so brave but that's the patience I had, now leave her here and she'll be back tomorrow or else, you'll be in trouble" he said smirking
"Bad joke, asshole. I'm not afraid of you. Now fucking move" I pushed him aside and walked past them but that bitch pulled my hand and held me back
"you don't understand, do you?" He grunted
"Let us go"
"Are you begging to me" he whispered in my ears
"You wish" I said as I pulled my hands back and kicked his balls.
He groaned in pain as he knelt down. I tried to run out but the other boys surrounded us and now there didn't seem to be a to get out of this.
"How dare you" a girl barked and pulled my hair, pushing me to the floor. I fell hard and my ankle hurt. But,
it's the least I can care about right now. Steph helped me stand up I hadn't noticed but she was so scared.
I felt terrible, this is not how we planned our new year. This whole year's gonna be shitty just like this.
