Prologue
Michael met Khai and Sevyn on his eighth birthday. He had just gotten out of the foster home that adopted his brother and threw him to the curb.
The first people he saw when he walked into Mrs. Adomilos on that first day, were those two little boys and he’ll never forget the way Sevyn wore a welcoming smile and Khai smirked knowingly.
They both understood how it felt to be unloved.
