His Favorite Color
You'd never guess that it would be 1:22 in the morning with a message on my screen from someone I thought was only a dream. At first my heart stopped, but my shaky hands opened it and my brain slowly processed the words blinding my eyes.
I message him back one word, "why?"
Why do I have to meet someone that was just a one night stand years ago for coffee? We weren't even friends apart of the same clique, so why?
Maybe I'm overthinking this, he just might me curious about how my life has been going.
The phone vibrates in my hands and I wince.
"Let me see you Cassandra."
He even used my full name! This tall, dark, dreamy, handsome hunk of a man.....I mean what could he want from me?
"I don't know Adrian, it's been years since I last saw you we don't need to relive one night 4 years ago."
Sighing I power off my phone and attempt seeking comfort in the stale mattress.
Oh. Fuck.
I click on the icon, not opening the message directly. I just have to see if he's still active-AND HE IS OH NO.
Breathe, I told myself.
Clicking on the message my jaw drops at the words he wrote me.
Groaning I flop around in bed like a fish feeling my stomach flutter.
'Four years ago?! I had this man under my spell for four years, I'm speechless.'
"Holy fuck did I really seduce a man when I was only eighteen? I'm a sex god!" I speak to myself like a weirdo.
My phone dings and I peek over and see his message, which makes me squeal like a child.
"Good girl."
