Chapter 1

Dreams of looking forward to the end of high school was all that Alex was wishing for at the moment, but knowing that this would not be her last year of high school only made her put her head down on her desk top in pity when the Homeroom teacher, Mr. T said Good morning troublemakers welcome to Junior year.

Everyone one but Alex was looking forward to this year and maybe it was because they didn't have to repeat it. Alex had to repeat her junior year of high school because of her ex best friend Sammy. Sammy lied about her cheating on the SAT. It was also Sammy who put the SAT answers sheet at the bottom of her desk when she left out of the classroom when testing was over, and guess which teacher found the answers sheet under Alex's desk? You guessed right if you said Mr. T.

When Mr. T was passing out the students classroom schedules he gave Alex a disappointing look, and said try not to cheat this year okay.

Alex was about to speak her mind when a young man around her age open his mouth and said "hey I know I'm late, but can I have my classroom schedule before the bell rings in like two minutes.

I think you got time backwards son, because this class doesn't end until 8:35am, and aren't you going to apologize for being late young man?

"My name is Joshua Miller not young man, and you got less than a minute to give me my classroom scheduled or...'

Or else what Mr. Miller?

"You sir are going to be the one apologizing to me, Joshua said with a smirk on his face".

When Mr T. was about to speak his mind the school bell ranged signaling the students to go to their next class. Mr. T was dumbfounded and felt embarrassed for almost making a scene, because Joshua was right and he was wrong.

Alex looked at Joshua and then at the time on her phone and she was surprised how time passed by so quickly. The rest of the class look at Joshua like he could be the next cool kid on the block, and Alex just looked at him like he was a normal kid.

In the end Mr. T finally gave Joshua his classroom schedule and didn't apologize for being wrong because he was to embarrassed to do so.
