Foreword

"She is a huge problem!" Robert screamed at his friend. "Just hear me out once, will you?" The second man replied calmly. "No, you hear me out, James. This building is not a place for little girls. You will go and leave her right where you found her. Now!" The man with the thin black moustache, James, was now getting irritated at his friend. "Firstly, stop ordering me around and secondly, I found her clinging onto her mother's dead body on the footpath. I'm not a fan of kids, you know this but I couldn't leave her there." Robert sighed and ran a hand through his grey hair. "Look, the country's best trainer, who's killed hundreds has suddenly gone soft." He mocked but somewhere in his voice, there was shock. When he didn't get an answer from James, he tried taking another way to convince his friend. "James, listen to me," James turned to face him and he continued. "We train assassins, we are the reason for almost a hundred murders every month. Even if we want, we can't keep a child here. What if she goes around telling the world about us. Everything will come crashing down!" No matter what Robert said, James had made up his mind. He knew he'd never be able to give the girl up. "I don't care. We can raise her here and train her just like we train the rest. Trust me, she's good news." Robert scoffed but also knew that James wasn't going to budge. "Three weeks." He said before turning away. "Three weeks and if she can knock out a newbie, we'll keep her. If not then you leave her." Before James could protest, Robert walked out of the room leaving him alone with the little sleeping girl with a weak body but the most beautiful cocoa hair he'd ever seen. Just looking at her tear-stained cheeks he knew she would help them. Little did he know that she would, indeed, help them but not in the way they'd expected.
