The discovery
"Katsuma I want to give you my quirk."
I was stunned, I'd been lied to! If you don't know who I am my name is Eri. This is my story on how I became the number 1 hero! Let's begin. So what happened to me was pretty tragic I suppose, a man named Kai Chisaki took me and experimented on me because of my quirk. He wanted quirks to be erased from the world so he used my quirk to make quirk erasing bullets with my blood. That's enough of a backstory now. I was at school it was the last year at middle school and our teacher asked us what job we wanted to take up. I knew exactly what I wanted to be. You see as a child I always wanted to be like Deku. After all he saved me and I was his biggest fan! He became the number 1 hero after graduation, I admired him after that even more.
I shot my hand up before everyone else even hand a chance to think about putting their hands up.
My teacher sighed and pretended I wasn't even there.
"How about you Kota. What do you want to take up?" he asked
Kota was my only friend in school, he told me he wasn't sure what he wanted to be when he was older.
"Umm, Sir I didn't even put my hand up." Kota rolled his eyes
"Don't give me that attitude young man!" The teacher scolded "Now tell me, what do you want to be."
"Um, I haven't really thought about it..." He mumbled
"Don't you want to be like your aunts Kota?" the teacher asked
Kota buried his face into his arms, I was so mad at my teacher. I then realised my hand was still in the air. I sheepishly pulled my hand down and faced my desk not looking at anyone.
I let the rest of the school day go on and didn't really pay attention to what my teacher had to say due to the fact I already knew all of it. After it had finished I ran up to Kota.
"Hey! What's up?" I greeted
"Not much, what are you planning to do?" Kota asked me
"I'm planning on going to the beach to train. What about you?" I replied
"Probably just going to go home and do some homework. Then just chill out." He told me
"Okay, well, I'll see you tomorrow!" I said heading over to the direction of the nearest beach
I started to sprint over to the beach, but I saw some figures talking. I was just a few feet away from them after a bit. I was shocked to see Mr Deku. I saw him talking to a boy around my age. I didn't know who the boy was but I decided I was going to say hello. I began walking further towards them and overheard them talking.
"Katsuma, I think you're ready." Mr Deku smiled at the boy supposedly called Katsuma
"Wait, really? Are you sure?" The boy spluttered and started crying
What are they talking about? I thought
"Katsuma, I want to give you my quirk." Mr Deku plucked off a piece of his hair
I was shook, I felt betrayed! After all, I had been lied to! I ran away crying my eyes out.
