" Roxanne , Roxanne listen to me -"
"Don't touch me " said Roxanne calmly as she slapped Jojo's hand away that was reaching to catch her wrist , she wanted to scream , to scar the pretty face of the wolf that was standing in front of her but she couldn't , because as an enforcer she was used to dealing things calmly , she didn't like to show her anger , she couldn't show too much of her emotions , and even if she did , will this wolf care about her ? Even in the slightest , if he did then he wouldn't have hurt her like this would he ?
" Roxanne please listen to me before you do something you regret " said Jojo , his face was just as pained as her like he knew that he was making a mistake , like he knew that he was hurting her but that didn't stop him from hurting her did it now ?
" Yeah like imprinting on an emotionally scarred she wolf only to back out at the last second when your so called mate pops up.?" snarled Roxanne , her extremely jealous and possessive wolf was inclined to take a bite off that pretty blonde that just popped out of nowhere this evening and destroyed her only happiness that she finally received after months no maybe years of agony .
Roxanne agreed with her wolf , but unlike her animal half , she was more rational she knew that if she harmed Jojo 's mate today , he will forever suffer from an agony from which he might never recover - an agony she knew and suffered through and have to go through it again but , she was strong , she knew she will get past it soon . Like she did before , like she had been doing before , if anything it was great that Jojo 's mate appeared before their imprinting bond settled in any further .
Their bond was already amplified enough to make her feel extremely possessive and overprotective of Jojo , so much that she wanted to take a swipe at the pretty little blonde right this very second but she won't because no one deserves to see her true emotions, especially not a wolf who promised her an eternity only to smoke it all up .
Sheer pain slashed across Jojo 's face , he looked helpless like a caged animal who was forced to do someone's bidding when it didn't want , Good at least he felt an ounce of what she was feeling currently .
Roxanne knew that Jojo was incredibly loyal and the thought of imprinting on her when his real mate was here with him , right in front of him waiting to be claimed - Jojo might see that as a betrayal to his true mate , Roxanne understood but that doesn't mean her wolf understood as well , to her wolf this man was the cause of her agony and she wanted nothing more but to claw his heart out and watch it bleed dry .
Again Roxanne agreed with her wolf , she too was hoping against hope that Jojo might really chose her over his mate , she had asked again and again how far he wanted to take things between them and he promised her - he promised her that he will be with her , that he didn't care about mate bonds and true mates - lies ! All lies .
" Roxanne calm down listen to me , don't do something that you will regret please-" said Jojo reaching to hold her wrist once again , he was agitated , too anxious and scared- he felt like he was making a mistake but his mate was here and he couldn't just abandon her .
" Oh you mean to say that You don't want me to do something stupid that might make you feel guilty ? " she sneered , snatching her hand away from his hold " if you are going to be an hypocrite then be one ! Don't hide your hideous intentions behind flattering words , Jo ."
" Roxanne-"
" save it , I don't care and I don't want to listen to you leave me the fuck alone "Wrenching herself away from Jojo ,Roxanne walked away her heart felt like it might burst this very second , it wad the hardest thing to walk away from Jojo when she very much wanted to run back into his arms and relish the comfort that his embrace brought her - but it no longer belonged to her - just like how Josh didn't belong to her anymore .
Walking on her Alpha and Luna when the Alpha was actually going down on his mate might have been scarring and awkward for anyone but not Roxanne , she had see Aiden's dick hanging out so many times that she was now practically resistant to its sight .
" Oh my god , Roxanne !" Gasped Aiden scrambling to pull his pants back " have you ever heard of knocking before ?"
" I haven't like you haven't heard the term ' locking ' before . A word of advice if you want to go all horny in our pack's office and do some major office play - lock the door " said Roxanne not even blocking when Aiden growled at her , the guy was an Alpha and a dominant male but he seemed to always forget that she was a dominant she wolf too " its not going to work and you know that "
" I wish it did , I'm getting tired of you cockblocking my fucking sessions " said Aiden finally done buckling his belt " I assume you didn't just came here to satisfy your voyeurism fetishes ?"
Roxanne grinned at him with her ' oh that's a bingo' smile and said " yup you got that right , And even I felt the slightest hint to go into voyeurism , I wouldn't come to you - I have seen you fuck a lot of times , and I beg to differ your techniques are getting boring "
" I beg your pardon ?" Said Aiden which Roxanne mentally translated as ' you have three seconds to get the fuck out of here '
Rosalie hushed him , as she hopped of the table and eased off her crumpled dress back down her thighs "don't be rude if she is here . It must be important "
" That's right" said Roxanne interrupting Aiden " Its pretty serious because I want to leave the pack "
