Chapter 1: The Moon Goddesses Final Decision
He looked at me and spoke. I Alpha Randy take Lisa Davis as my true mate and Luna. I Lisa Davis accept your offer and will be your true mate and Luna now and forever. We heard Adam scream. No, I want to take back my rejection.
Just then we all saw the most beautiful woman walking toward us. I am the Moon Goddess. For centuries I have watched my wolfs sleep around and not wait for their mates. When they did find them, they continued to reject them and accept them when it was convenient for them to do so.
I have decided that instead of my beloved wolfs that are rejected to feel the pain and have no children it was time that the one doing the rejection will have no mate. They will have no second chance mate and have no children if they choose a mate, I have not given them.
The one rejecting will from now on feel when their rejected mate does find their second chance mate. They will feel when they are marked and fully mated. They will watch as the rejected mate has pups and the love they deserve. once a mate has rejected the one doing the rejection can never take that rejection back. This is final. Before disappearing, she looked down at Adam.
I held Alpha Randy’s hand, and we walked out of the ring and to Alpha Gene’s packhouse. We were celebrating the fact that I also get to tell Lori that she is now an omega now that Alpha Dwain was dead.
All the rejected wolves were celebrating what our Moon Goddess has done. Now the females do not fear being rejected. And my grandparents announced that I will be the next Queen. I looked at Randy and said, “I am so happy that you are my true mate”.
I am happy that I am your true mate and can’t wait to have pups with you. We then kissed each other hearing Adam scream. Justice is finally being served to those idiots who think they can reject their mates and get away with it.
The Moon Goddess turned and looked at Adam. Before she disappeared, she told him. “I had such high hopes for you and Lisa. You would have had strong, intelligent, beautiful children.”
Then she was gone. I turned and looked at Randy. “Cookout and celebration for all those who have been rejected and the fools that will continue to reject their mates in the future.”
We turned and walked away from Adam. Not looking back. We are going to celebrate the turn of events. The mates that rejected us will now feel the pain of that rejection.
They will not get a second chance mate or ever have pups. For years those of us that were rejected got all that and it was not fair. Not fair that we ended up feeling all that pain.
I turned and looked at my grandfather. A man stepped up and said, “King Ramond, Queen Laura Devin.”
“Yes, Lord Ryan, what can I help you with?”
“I came to congratulate Princesses Lisa and her new mate Alpha Randy.”
“Alpha Randy and I are neighbors. I live 25 miles from the Red Moon Packhouse.”
“Yes, I know who you are Lord Ryan. What I do not understand is why you are here. After all, we are not the best of friends.”
I watched my grandfather look from Lord Ryan back to Randy. “I thought that Lord Ryan here told me you were friends.”
“Well, I didn’t say we were friends. I said we were neighbors.”
“I do not like someone to try and deceive me, Lord Ryan.”
“I saw him looking at me.”
“There is something about you, Lord Ryan, that I do not like.”
“I am like my grandmother. You would do well to remember that.”
“What does that mean?”
“I might forgive, but I always remember, and I always get even for something wrong done to me.”
“Shall we go and celebrate?” I said turning around and walking around to the back of the house. As I walked over to get a drink I saw my brothers Nathan, Mark, and Ted.
"There is something I don't like about him. He tried to imply we were friends."
"I have met his mate. She was asking me all kinds of questions about you, Lisa. You and Randy."
"I heard talk in town that he wants to buy this property from Randy," Mark told us.
"It is not for sale. Never will be. Randy's great-grandfather came here and build this when there was no town."
"Lisa, you have a good mate. He is smart and intelligent. And everyone fears him."
"They would be stupid to mess with Randy."
"I don't know. They also know if they got rid of me, he might break."
"I don't think so, Lisa. I think it will piss him off and make him destroy anyone that gets in his way of finding you or hurting you." Teddy told me.
"He can be very intimidating."
"That is so true. And I don't want to piss him off."
I watched Lord Ryan. I do not trust him. I waved Randy's batá over. "Rick, I want you to go and investigate Lord Ryan over there. He made it sound like he and Randy were friends to my grandparents."
"And Rick, dig deep I have never seen that man before or heard about him. There is something he is up to, and I want to know what it is."
I watched as Bata; Rick walked away. Lord Ryan was making his rounds. I know that since no one knows him they won't say much to him. I smiled as he was talking to my mother and his smile dropped fast.
"Lord Ryan, if you are a friend of my daughters and Randy's why are you asking so many questions? If I, were you, I would be careful what you ask."
"It can get you killed very quickly. Her father does not like someone messing with his family."
I turned and walked over to stand next to Lisa. "That man is up to something. And he is not liking what we are all telling him. He is not getting the answers he wants."
I don't care if he likes it or not. If he wants something he needs to ask for a meeting. Stop lying and say what he wants. We don't like someone playing about the bush.
It was time for Lisa and Randy to leave for their honeymoon. We walked them out to the car and wished them well. I turned and looked at Randy.
"Are you alright babe?"
"I am fine. I have never been happier."
We walked over to where Lori was sitting. We talked with them for a few minutes then we started to walk away. We stopped after a few steps and turned looking at Lori.
"Oh, Lori before I forget. You are now an Omega."
"You can't do that. She yelled."
"I already did. I am now your Luna and don't you ever forget it. Leave that table now. And go set at the Omega's table where you now belong."
As we walked around talking to others, they looked toward the Omega table. Looks like you put her in her proper place. The whores table."
I smiled at the woman and asked her name, "My name is Mackenzie. You can call me Mac. Everyone else does."
"Well, Mac my name is Lisa. You may call me that. Unless in very formal surroundings."
"I knew we would be friends. I told Eagle that."
"You know Eagle?"
"He didn't tell you, did he? Well, I am his mate."
"No, I didn't know he even had a mate."
"Yes, I wonder why that is."
We sat down at a table talking when we saw Eagle, and Randy walk over to the table. They sat down not saying anything. Each in his own mind. We do not understand Silver. Our brother has lost his mind.
I knew my brother. I know him like I know the back of my hand. He has something up his sleeve. But I don't know what yet. She has been here for one month and he has not taken her to the packhouse.
He also continues to let that bitch sit in Luna's chair. Even act like Luna. We know she isn't our Luna. I heard she didn't know because she just got back from being in South Carolina.
"I have had enough of this silence. Silver when are you going to mate and mark me?"
I spoke up glaring at her. "He's not ever going to make you the Luna. You see. We mated and marked each other. And get the hell out of my chair."
"It is not your chair yet. Snake never said he mated and marked you."
I walked over to her and moved my hair aside. "What is that?"
"I think you already know. My mate marks. Now get the hell out of my chair before I throw you out."
I watched as she stood up and walked over to another table and sat down. "Take her food to her and get me a clean plate I said."
I was glaring at Eagle just as Mac and Lisa were then we glared at Randy was glaring at him. Then I glared at Silver. I swallowed and stood up. She was pissed. I think my mate made a very shocking entrance. Yes, is my mate. Rage is also an Alpha. She will not be disrespected either.
I looked over at the slut and grinned at her. I was telling her she might fuck him. However, he will never mate and mark her. And if she got pregnant. Well, let me just say the baby will be given up for adoption.
Not one of his bastards will stay here or in this state or country. I will make sure they go to good homes. I can't blame the child for being born.
I leaned back and turned my head looking at Silver. "So, that is the slut you have chosen over your real mate."
"Not really. She is just one of them."
"Well, not anymore."
"No, not anymore."
I wanted to drag her to our bedroom, strip her and make love to her for hours. I couldn't do that. Not yet. My hands are dirty. Until I clean up this pack and the club, I don't have the right.
However, if she turned to me, I would never say no to her. I can't not anymore. She is our mate. I looked over at him. I am going to bed. Take me to our bedroom.
I stood up and told her to follow me. As we walked to the second floor, and I opened the last door on the right I walked in with her following me.
I turned the light on, and we both saw her laying in our bed. "What the hell are you doing in my bed, Jana?"
'What are you talking about? I stay in this room with you, Rage."
"Get out of my bed. Now."
I grinned at her as she climbed out of the bed standing naked in front of us. I watched as she started to walk toward Rage. "Stop right there. Stay the hell away from me. And for your lying, I will discuss that with your Luna, and Beta."
After she walked out and slammed the door behind her, I ripped the sheets off the bed. I put clean sheets on the bed. We are not going to lay in that bed with her scent.
I then handed Rage a tee shirt of mine. I walked into the bathroom and took a shower. I dried off and put on his tee shirt. I braided my hair and walked into the bedroom.
I looked over at her as Silver climbed into the bed next to the wall. I grabbed shorts and walked into the shower. When I climbed into the bed, I saw her leaning almost against the wall.
"Rage. I'm sorry about what I said. I don't hate you. I never did. You are my mate. There are things you don't understand. I don't want to fight with you.
Silver, I never had sex with any woman since the day I found you."
"I was told to leave town or be thrown in prison for rape. I left town. I swore I would return when you turned 18. I am sorry I was not here. I had been cleaning up a mess."
"It took you two years to clean up a mess. I am sure it didn't take that long."
"After all Rage, it was not me that you had in your bed, now was it?"
"I knew Silver was angry but not that angry. At least I didn't think she was."
We had to go to my clubhouse tomorrow. Silver was coming home with me. She has not let me touch her since the days she caught me fucking Jana. I put her through a lot of pain.
She has not forgiven me for it. I turned to see her staring at the ceiling. "Silver, I told you I was sorry."
"Rage, you do not love me. I know that. I know your wolf does. But you do not. Don't worry, I won't disrespect you in front of your club members or pack members."
"I will play the dutiful Luna. But I refuse to mate with you again. I can't trust you. That is the end of the story. I won't reject you, Rage."
"Get used to it. I can't trust you. And besides. You hate my guts. I have no idea what I ever did to you. Seeing as to how I never met you until today."
