Chapter 1
I look at the time and its past 9pm. This is what I get for agreeing to be the second chair on this case. I mean sure I am the senior partner at this firm and yes I earned this spot but did I ever learn to say no to any case I was sure I would not win... the answer is no. And this case is no different. The facts are all there as is the evidence to prove the innocence of this deranged psychopath of a client.
Having billions in the bank does buy you your freedom and in this case the right to leave your wife penniless becuse of the prenup she signed. This guys wife of 25 years was caught having an affair with his partners son and there happens to be a video of this affair which I watched and I have to say, the woman knows her way around a whip. However the crazy part is this woman is not contesting the divorce nor is she demanding anything in return.
And yesterday while I was preparing for court this man walks into my office and decides she can have the house and the holiday home and anything else she wants. He will settle out of court. And this is why I am in my office drawing up the paperwork at this hour for the meeting first thing in the morning.
So here I am.
