"Usual horror tropes include either gore, killer, and/or an obvious plot twist. This collection of horror stories does none of these things. The author is imaginative and creative with each chapter and are guaranteed to help you not sleep at night. I would recommend to all my friends and family. He will be the next Edgar Allen Poe."

"This was the first horror/thriller book I've read and it did not disappoint. Its format is ideal because you can either pick it up to read one of the 27 tales or binge-read them all. It affords you to take a quick break from reality or immerse yourself in the various scenarios described. The short tales are poignant and very well written. After finishing each one, I felt like I wanted to read more. It felt like each tale could become its own book, eventually."

"Remember "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark" that you read as a kid? This is the new and improved version. My butt hole was clenched from the first very chapter. The details and descriptions the author is able to ingrain in your mind is next level. Anyone that loves the thrill of horror should check this book out."
