Vampire
She is of silk
Her skin is milk
With eyes of sea and hair of ground
Her slender fingers spider-wound
But her body is cold;
it has no soul.
And it is still, like harp strings at night,
Waiting for my entrance, my bite.
Just a Needle
You are just a needle
You go in
And I feel it
so which of us is really numb?
You're just the needle
It doesn't matter how deep you sink into my skin.
You still won't feel me.
But I'll still want more.
Fragile
My belly is a swollen envelope
Its insides swim, filled with sharks
They flow down to my ankles
where they bite from the inside
My blood bites back.
And I think of your fragile arm in my hands;
the bones don't deserve to be broken,
but it would be so easy.
