"I truely enjoyed this book. The noble hawkwind who took her pledge seriously, to protect the humans. She faced each challenge along the way fearlessly. She never loss sight of her goals. She relied on the history to obtain a future, although the past had tradgedy; she learned from it. I also appreciate how though there were diferences in each other; all were treated with grace and mercy. Grace and mercy is sadly not practiced in areas of humans today. The ending was rather tedious and I found need of pencil and paper to write the different lines down. I'm thrilled to know there is a sequel planned. ; "
