Chapter 1

*SWEARING, DEATH AND GORE CONTAINED!*

Hello. My name is Sage Gold and I’m 16. I was a normal girl like most of you reading this , I had a small friend group, I went to school, I had a home, I had a family and most importantly I was happy! But one day, that one stupid day I try my best to forget, everything changed and changed for the worst. And I, Sage, will tell you about this day but be warned it’s not nice.

It all started by me waking up, Tuesday a school day. I groaned, I hated school the only good thing about it was my friends, Aubrey and Mason. I normally wake up at 7:00am by my mum calling me, but she didn’t. I thought it was strange but thought nothing of it, she’s normally at work so probably just another shift. I got out of bed and grabbed my school uniform off my chair. I get ready quickly because there’s nothing else I can really do, is there? Go on my phone maybe but nothing exciting about a school day. When I went downstairs I saw my sister Macy. She told me mum was out and I had to drive her to school. Great! I was already going to be late. Oh well, at least that’s less school work for me, I even have an excuse! I normally skive class in the bathrooms anyways, if the teachers don’t like me I’m not gonna waste my time on them. I grab my bag and we start driving, I wanted to walk today so I can listen to my music but I guess not, I don’t even like driving it sucks and it’s so stressful. I go to a public school so traffic is always so crap. We finally got to Macy’s primary, a baby school perfect for her. Me and Macy never got along but it’s not my fault! She’s so boring and she never stops talking. (Well that’s what I used to think.) My school had opened 30 minutes ago by the time I dropped her off. I miss primary though, it was so easy and I had many friends. She went to my old primary “Abbots junior.” I miss every part of it, even the “strict teachers” That were nice compared to the teachers at Ruby high. Talking about Ruby High, I had arrived. It was such a big school but I knew the way around, it was easy to get used to because of all the hours spent in this hell, waiting to be freed and to graduate. The teacher waited at the late gate as normal. “Late again?” She said. Ugh she was such a bitch I actually hated her. She was such a strict loser, reminded my of my sister. It was honestly so tempting to swear at her but I stopped myself, I couldn’t be bothered for another detention! I mumbled “Sorry miss.” Even though I wasn’t sorry at all.”I had to drop my younger sister off at her school.” I mean that part wasn’t a lie at least. She said it was fine and took me to my class. I had Geography, Great! I hated Geography with every bone in my body. It was so crap and boring I never payed attention. Not to mention my teacher is strict and the seating plan actually makes me want to kill myself. Oh and fucking Keira was looking at me. Shes such a brat how does Mason like her! Mason and Kira are dating by the way, don’t know how but sure! Whatever lets carry on, shall we? When I got to lesson the whole class stared at me like I was a clown in the centre of the circus. Like can they just F off honestly thought they would be used to this by now. I sat down and got my book out my bag, It was an ugly blue colour and had graffiti all over it. I opened the book grabbed my pen and wrote the date, 16 October 1998. The lesson felt like forever as I watched the clock ready for Mr Dickson to say “The bell doesn’t dismiss you, I do!” If I’m being honest I just walk out. Can’t really deal with that shit, no wonder his nickname is Mr. Dick. The rest of the school day was as normal, Boring and tiring, until a sudden alarm went off in 4th period. I though it was the fire alarm and I was excited. Missing biology because of a drill is amazing for me, but I guessed wrong, badly wrong. My teacher, Mrs Williams told everyone to grab their things really quickly, Strange because we’re told not to bring our things for a fire alarm to stop hallways being packed. And then I heard a loud death scream coming from a nearby classroom. And that’s when we found out what happened.
