It started as fine until..

A few days later..

Here I am waking up on a school day with nothing to wear for school.

I took every single piece of clothing in my closet and drawers, And I couldn’t find a single piece of clothing to wear for school which is so annoying it’s because why didn’t I buy clothes over the summer?. Ughh..Wait! I could wear this dress I guess, I mean it looks cute so why not.

I wore the dress and went to the mirror, I looked so cute in the dress and it’s perfect for school.

“Luna! Sweetie come down for breakfast!” My mother calls me from downstairs. I packed my supplies and books for school I went downstairs for breakfast. “Morning mom” I saw her cooking breakfast it smelled so good.

“Morning, Look I made you eggs with bacon your favorite!” She placed the food down on the table. I ate it so fast because I am going to be late for the bus. “I gotta go mom bye!” I ran out and got on the bus. I sat down next to this girl who became my friend after we talked while going to school she must have been new because I have never seen her before.

“I forgot you never told me your name, What’s your name?” I asked. We had a full-on conversation and I never asked for her name, Oh my god.

“Oh well, my name is Elena. What about your name?” She said. I smiled and said, “My name is Luna, Your name is pretty I like it!” We both looked at each other and laughed along the way.

“Hahaha, thanks your name is pretty too I like it too” She Smiled and we just kept talking and talking.

Anyway, we arrived at school the bell didn’t ring which made me confused because I thought that school would start by now and I would be late. I checked my phone and saw that it was only 7:45am. I thought it was 8 o’clock but anyway I had enough time to bring Elena to the principal for her schedule and what a coincidence we had the same classes!

We had Chemistry Class first so I told her to follow me to class, So we both took our books out and waited for class to start.

The bell rings...

“Alright, class today we have a new Student with us.” The teacher says. Wait..What?

The new student came in and it was a boy, He looked very cute so I froze. “Hey My name is Waylen Hadler, I am 16 and I can’t wait to be with you all.” I just sat there watching him as he introduces himself. “Nice to meet you Waylen, As you know I am Sir Oliver and I will be teaching you and other students.” Sir Oliver says.

Waylen chuckled softly, “Where will I be sitting Sir?” He asks. Oh please don’t sit next to me I am nervous already please don’t tell him to sit next to me Sir Oliver.

"Ah right right, You will be sitting next to Luna Francis she's over there." GAH SIR You really had to pick me? Why me...

Waylen comes to sit next to me and take out all his books for Chemistry. "Hey, nice to meet you I'm Waylen." He shook my hand with a smile. I Did not say anything and just looked at him. I could not believe it! Him sitting next to me?? It's like a dream come true.

But Anyway Chemistry class started and it was boring I could tell you, I just wish that I could timelapse this class.

The bell rang again...

"Alright, class dismiss." Sir Oliver said.

"Hey! Luna wait for me!" Someone shouts my name, I turned around and saw Waylen waving his hand at me. He ran to me and said, "Wait for me next time." He smiled and gave me a hug. Why so sudden? we just met right? or am I wrong. Did I meet him before?

"Hey what's up why did you tell me to wait for you?" I asked, I looked confused because we just met he should be talking to someone else. "Ah because I wanted to be friends like old times!" He said. I was confused about what did he mean by "Old times"?

"What do you mean?" I asked. I tilted my head to the right a bit trying to remember him.

"I guess you do not remember me." He said, Huh? I wonder what he meant by that. "We were best friends in middle school but then you moved out." Waylen showed me a picture of him and me as kids. And I remember that boy I remember that I was best friends with that boy.

"Wait...Is your Mom's name Marie Hadler?" I ask, Marie Hadler was my Mom's friend 5 years ago.

"Yes! Yes, my Mom is Marie Hadler!" I could not believe it, I actually found my best friend after 5 years! I gave Waylen a big hug.

"I can't believe I found you again Waylen it's been so long!" I teared up a bit but Waylen gave me a hug and said "Hey it's okay don't cry now Bestie" He chuckled.

I wiped my tears and Chuckled softly, "We should go to our next class or we will be late" I said, He laughed and said, "Yeah your right but I don't know where Biology Class is, Mind showing the way?" We talked all the way to Biology class. I really missed him over the years that we've been separated.

The bell rings...

Biology Class starts.

30 Minutes later, Biology Class ends. Now we are on break time. I and Waylen just talked and talked until Break time ends. We had many memories as kids so we talked about our awkward, embarrassing, and Fun years! We both laughed until we lost our breath.

"Hahaha, I remember when you tried on my Mom's makeup and it was Hilarious!" He said and Laughed, I just looked at him laughing and talking about our memories. I really like him when we were kids and now but I don't know how I can tell him my feelings.

I just stared at his beautiful blue eyes and lost my mind until...

"Luna? Luna?? Helloo earth to luna, WAKE UP!" Waylen shouts and pinched me on my arm hard, I shook my head "Ow what was that for!?" I said, I pinched him back on his arm for payback.

"Ow, Okay you pinch hard are you a shrimp or what?" He said. I pouted. I didn't even pinch that hard, to be honest.

"Wait...You are still a shrimp hahaha, So short for no reason" He laughed at me being short how rude of him but to be honest I am kind of short-

"Rude, Just because you're taller than me doesn't mean I'm a shrimp," I said, I turned and crossed my hands. Just because he is taller than me doesn't mean I'm a shrimp.
