In the beginning I thought I was just your normal seventeen year old werewolf. Who just so happened to be next in line to be my packs next Luna. Boy oh boy was I wrong because there were things I was not aware of. Things I was not aware of was: the secrets that my pack was apparently built on, or who my mate would be, or how far some people would go to keep me from my mate. Will I be able to figure out what these secrets are in time to protect my family and myself or will I fail hurting the people I love. I have to do all of this while having to help get ready and run the Feast of the Beast the biggest event of the year for werewolfs and Lycan's alike. Can I stay true to my dominate side or will I submit to the of either my father or my so call mate the Royal Alpha Tyler Logan Henderson.
Chapter one
HI I am Rose Carter and I am your normal seventeen year old girl. Oh except I am a werewolf. There isn't much to know about me but these few these: I am a fighter for my pack, the pack I belong to is the red moon pack, my father is the Alpha of my pack, my mate and I will be the next Alpha and Luna, lycan's rule over all the packs(only because they are stronger and more savage), and it has been declared that women cannot be an Alpha(supposedly we are not strong enough but we are or at least can be more cunning.).
I live at home with my mom, dad, and six sibling(Yes werewolf's like to fuck whenever we get the chance. So we have a lot of kids). I am the oldest which has my dad freaking out because in two weeks on my birthday I can officially find my mate. As if I want someone to hang on my every move but be strong enough to help me run this pack. Every male hopes to be my mate but I turn them all away I see no sparks in their eyes. I am a dominant wolf as my father taught me to be. He says he does not want me and my two sisters to be like our mother as she is weak. She is a submissive wolf.
Which my father hates. No one can understand how he mated with a submissive wolf. Wolfs mate for life and they fight all the time but try to mess with one the other will attack. My mother maybe a submissive wolf but she has fought off every bitch who has ever tried to steal my father away. Out of everything in their lives everyone knows I am his pride and Joy. His first born and he plans on handing the pack to me and my mate when I finish what he calls my training and I have my mate. Whenever I find my mate he will train him as well before hand as well. He would just hand me the pack but our people won't accept a female Alpha.
Mother is called a Luna. As is her title she gets with being with my father. I however do her duties as Luna so everyone calls me the 'Warrior Luna or Luna Rose'. Whenever either title is used we know who is needed (all though as I've said before and many times if its not my father calling she is almost never needed.) Anything that requires the Luna like helping bring in new pups to the world or learning to be the next healer I have had to train to do. Even being the packs next seer I have started my training on that where as my mother sits outside looking confused. Even though I fought that it interfere with my training to be a warrior they still got me to come. After weeks of being with our healer Galena I agreed it was harder than warrior training.
However these past few weeks my father has been snapping at everyone because the King has chosen our pack to host this years Feast of the Beast. It came as a shock so I have chosen not to fight with him and just to do as he has asked. The Feast of the Beast is where the Lycan's choose a pack to host a summit of all the packs where all the unmated members could branch off and try to find their mates. While the Lycan's held counsel with all the Alpha's and Beta's. After there is first dance with all the new mates that were found during the meetings.
