Chapter 1: Not A Normal Girl

Growing up everyone wanted to be something magical, the girls wanted to be fairs and the boys wanted to be strong werewolves you had the odd person who loved fantasy and wanted to be a vampire or witch. Not me, all I ever wanted was to be normal. No one knew what I was in my old school that is until my parents decided it was time for The School Of Magical Creatures to take over my life.
Hi my name is Sage sapphire and I'm a witch. I'm apart of the royal coven known as the sapphire coven, my parents are queen Genevieve and king Roberto sapphire. In this world we live in witches rule the land and vampires rule the shadows but we are sworn enemies and do not communicate unless absolutely necessary, not even in school were werewolves are also welcome. Werewolves are in the middle of the food chain, they are more powerful than vampires but the witches over power them. your probably wondering how werewolves can be more powerful than vampires, there are two reasons for this one is that there bite can kill a vampire and the only cure can be made by a witch and reason number two is that witches and werewolves are allies.
My best friends name is Isaac and he is the werewolf heir. His parents are the alpha and Luna of the moon pack which rules all werewolves. I never really thought about it but I guess that is why we are best friends because we are both living the same life just at a different view point. And as for the heir to the vampires his name is Salvatore St John, his mother is queen Carisa Of Shadow and his father is king Alfredo Of Shadow. His mother recently passed away when their castle was attacked by a group of rouge werewolves and at the time my mother and father were away so the council decided not to help. I was unable to have a say, I would have helped. No child deserves to loose there mother. Anyway after his mothers death he left school for a while and decided to go to another realm on a different planet known as shadow gardens were they burry the fallen vampires. I haven't heard from him in 3 years but I think that's a good thing because I hated him and felt sorry for him at the same time.
There are 4 realms in the world, the first and the biggest is the witches realm called sapphire falls as it is filled with waterfalls the next biggest is the werewolf realm known as The Luna stone Realm because of the moon goddess and then there is the vampire realm known as The Shadow Realm but people just call it Shadow Land. The forth realm is the forbidden realm where all the deadly spirits and half breeds live. A half bred is a person or thing that has more than one gene for example a werewolf has a child with a witch, even though they are both respected creature they are unnatural and not welcome in the realms. I don't believe in that, I think we should all be treated with a little respect even if we are different. But I'm not queen ...... yet.
So I am not a normal girl and I never was, never will be. Sometimes I'm ok with that as magic comes with its peaks as dose being the heir to the throne and world for that matter. However my one normality is school even if I learn magic and how to cure a werewolf bite while avoiding vampires there, it is my one place where I can be me without my parents eyes on me. That is until Monday 12th of October came around.
