Lockdown

“ AHHHHHH-HH HE-LP!!!! AHHHHHHH-HH .”

Screams, screams that’s all she can hear. She just covered her ears as she keeps running away. She wanted to help. She really wanted to help those people. But she couldn’t. She couldn’t even help herself. The rage of the scream begins to fade as she continues to run. She can’t do something. She didn’t even know what was going on. It suddenly happened since the lockdown started.

Her vision starts to blur but this hindrance couldn’t stop her. A rush of adrenaline flows through her body as she runs. She can feel now the tiredness consume her body especially her legs. She can’t even think straight right now because of too much events. She couldn’t process what’s exactly was happening. She feel stupid.

Blood starts running down from her temple towards her chin. She turned her head behind. To see if someone is chasing her. She saw no one. She suddenly realize that the screams already stop that cause her body automatically stop running. Catching her breath. She’s already exhausted from the run.

She roam her eyes around to check the woods and her surroundings. All she can see now was the huge tress and the moon lights reflecting through the leaves of trees.

The leaves are waving, cold breeze filled the air and she felt herself chilled. The leaves can only be heard and her fast deep breaths. She can’t even feel that there’s someone staring at her. Smiling like a devil because he found his target. His prey.

‘His beautiful prey’

Eerie consumed the woods. She felt her body stilled when she suddenly feel something hit her neck and it stings. She couldn’t breathe properly as she grabbed that something from her neck and slowly knelt down on the dirt of the woods trying to catch her breath while holding the small syringe. That cause her to be dizzy and out of breath. Her eyelids begin to close and she fall to unconsciousness but before her body fell to the dirt someone already catch her.

AMBER

slowly opens her eyes but the lights block her sight. She wants to shield her eyes from the light with her hands but unfortunately she can’t move her body due of the fatigue she is currently feeling right now. In a mere seconds she finally adjusted her eyesight. She blink, blink and blinked until she found herself staring at the white ceiling. It’s not familiar to her.

′ Where I am ? ′

The light suddenly starts to blinks a couple of times every second of the bulb blinks the more her heartbeat beat so fast. The light blinks faster than before until it blows away that cause her to squeal in shock.

" You really look lovely when your body’s full of blood, My water lily. ”

A deep raspy voice echos through the thick white walls of the room where’s Her fatigue body is laying in a soft mattress. Shivers runs down her spine when she hear that deep voice.

Her eyes widened when she heard a sound of shoes steps approaching her. But she could not restrain herself from answering to what he just said.

" Your taste weird. Do I look like a water lily?! In this cute face of mine?! How dare you! ”

His sudden laughter envelop the whole room. Whether she admits it or not. His laugh was so good in her ears. Just like a song, singing a beautiful melody. It was as if her tiredness had suddenly disappeared.
