Prologue
James had to take his position too soon. He was far too young to be an Alpha. At the age of fifteen, his father died. It's been 4 years since that accident. He is now nineteen and has been Ruling as Alpha for four years. He's been alone for the past four years have not found his Soulmate. Normally wolves meet their soulmates at the age of 18. But for Alphas it's different. Alphas normally meet their soulmates at the age of 15. He's been waiting for years now. And normally when a wolf doesn't find their mate within a year their mate is probably dead. He had lost hope when he turned eighteen.
May on the other hand ran away from her father. When he found out she was a witch he wanted to experiment on her. He wanted to take her powers for himself. It took everything to run away. She was weak from not being fed. But she couldn't let him get to her. That was three years ago. She is sixteen now and has been on the run ever since. She knows he is still out there looking for her. She is not letting him get anywhere near her. Not again anyway. Even though he was her dad he lost that title the minute he tied her up.
