Chapter 1
One day my parents went on a 1 day business trip to Connecticut and left me with my 9 year old brother jared. We say goodbye and they give me and my brother a warm hug. As they get in the car me and my brother jared watch as they drive off.
I sit down on a nearby recliner chair and get on my phone getting ready to text my friend. Just for a heads up we live in the suburbs and behind us is a big forest Jared likes playing there and following the trail.
Back to the story right when I get on my phone ready to text my friends that i’m having a house party, my brother asks if we could follow the trail in the forest. Me being the best brother I can be I sigh and softly say ¨ Yea sure¨ get ready I’ll wait here.
He goes to get his coat with some surprising speed and we head out. I realized that our dog Natsu hadn’t gone outside in a bit so I took him with us halfway through the trail. I smell a scent of rotting corpses and think nothing of it.
I take Natsu off the leash and he runs forward. I chase him but then I see him retreating and slowly backing up. I run towards him and see that there’s a big dead deer laying down on the ground with its stomach torn out whole.
I thought it was a bear for a second but realized that bears wouldn’t do this amount of damage to an animal this big and it had bite marks around its leg and neck.
When I get out of this gaze and thought process, I finally remember that my 9 year old brother Jared is standing right next to me witnessing the whole thing. I tell him it’s not safe out here and tug him, signalling its time to go.
Right when I say let’s go he says something ¨The boogey man did this¨ he says with a scared tone I ask him what he means and he says the boogeyman did this. I see him when I play around here, he has big sharp teeth and he’s super tall.
I’m 6,2 and I ask him if he’s taller than me and to my shock he slowly nods his head. Carry him and run home; it’s 12 at night and I’m thinking about what happened in the forest and how to tell my parents. Soon, I black out....
I wake up to hearing breathing at the corner of my room as my eyes adjust I see a humanoid creature breathing it jumps on me and only then do I realize how tall it is he takes its hand out and gives me a small finger from a child and ear from a deer it then jumps off of me making a small cut in my leg and I remember Jared and Natsu, Jared would come screaming and Natsu would bark loud and I wonder why I wouldn’t be able to hear that.
I come back to my senses and I enter the living room to see blood on the floor and a half eaten Natsu on the ground as I scream I run into Jared’s room to a Empty bed. I check the house and find the back door open. I grab my boots, coat and a flashlight and head to the same trail following it. I look down to see huge footsteps as I run towards them. I got to the place where the deer had been except now it wasn’t a deer but my little brother Jareds lifeless body with his guts and stomach torn out of his body. I scream and call the cops. I tell them what I see and here I am a suspect of my Brother murder and unfortunatly I lost the battle and now Im currently doing life waiting for my execution.
At Least I could be with my brother and my dog... It will all be just fine..........
